Only word with Nintendo Switch OR 3DS XL, will not work with standard DS. This is the “pocket edition”. Do not expect the same gameplay as the computer version. My 7 year old and 4 year old both use it, and they love it! They can’t put it down. The downside is that it is lacking any available updates, the controls are very different, and it’s missing certain features. But it is perfect for the non-picky gamer-on-the-go.

My son was so excited about this game but it's only compatible with the "NEW" 3DS. My fault I didn't look closer at the package, but still a total waste of money. Now the best I can hope for is trade in value on a new used game.

Wow i simply love this game and they released it to my 3ds..which is portable to take around.the game is fun.and great with many building imagination you can create..love it i recommend it

Bought as a gift for my son. **Note: You need either the New Nintendo 3DS XL or New Nintendo 2DS XL for this game to work. Will not work on any other DS system. My son loves Minecraft and likes that he can now play it on his New 2DS system, rather than is outdated Ipad pocket edition that keeps crashing.

My kids asked for this game for Christmas. It keeps them entertained and they seem to love it.

This game is only for the New Nintendo 3DS, as it requires the c stick to look around and navigate. Overall it's a great game for any Minecraft fan. It is not as complete as say, the PC version but it is still worth the price to be able to mine on the go.

This 3Ds edition of Minecraft is a great edition to my Nephew's Minecraft World. He loves everything Minecraft. It will entertain him for hours, until the next Minecraft product comes along.

Minecraft New Nintendo 3DS Edition - Nintendo New 3DS. This is a gift that has not been played yet. But he has older versions of minecraft that he loved so I bought this one.

I actually bought two of these so both my sons have their own and hopefully will keep them from fighting.

My daughter loved receiving this gift for Christmas. she plays it all the time on her xbox so she's very happy that she can now play it on her DS

We have one of the older ones and it isn't compatible so sadly it will have to go back. But I've played this game on another 3ds and it is great!

Got this for my son a couple weeks ago. after a little getting used to, he's playing it like a champ. he loves the game.

Again both of my boys are loving this game. They've got multiple Minecraft games and this has to be their favorite

This is a great game for kids to learn and have fun at the same time. My son loves to create with it

My 7 year old son has been into Minecraft for quite some time and I wasn't sure how he'd react to the 3ds version since I assumed it was missing some features from the PC version. Thankfully it wasn't and after a few startup hurdles (He wasn't used to starting from scratch and the control scheme) he's loved it.

They can go all day playing that game its an addictive game
