I went with three stars because I couldn't use it on the new Motorola stylus unlock phone I just purchased when I check compatibility it said that my phone was compatible with the eSIM. But after I purchase the eSIM and try to activate it with my Motorola it said my Motorola is not eSIM compatible so I end up having to sell it to a friend who had an iPhone and it was compatible with her phone. He says it's working just fine with her iPhone but I end up losing out on $15 because I sold it to her cheaper than what I paid for it. IT only got three stars because my friend said it was working fine.

The Mint Mobile 3-Month 5GB eSIM Prepaid Plan is an excellent choice for anyone looking for an affordable, no-frills wireless plan. The eSIM activation process is convenient, the coverage is reliable, and the price is unbeatable. If you’re a light data user and have an eSIM-compatible device, I highly recommend giving this plan a try. For heavy data users, however, you might want to explore Mint Mobile’s higher-data plans. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and will likely renew after the three months are up!

What a disaster this digital product is. Be prepared to not have a functioning code for several days while the process settles. I received the email and code right away, but Mint did not have the code in their system yet. Best Buy can't/won't help, and say to contact Mint. Mint dropped my call 4 times before I became annoyed enough to call back Best Buy and make it their problem. Best Buy also will not refund this due to it being a digital product. A ticket was opened through Best Buy, but I don't think anything happened on their end other than enough time passed that the system/process worked through and 4 days later the code finally worked. Reading other reviews here this seems like the normal process that Best Buy and Mint don't even understand. I would just simply steer clear of these digital products that relate to cell plans. Best Buy, I'd suggest not selling this product to prevent frustrated customers or at least document to not expect a functioning code for 3-5 days after purchase in some cases.

I heard about Mint from a coworker and I was pretty skeptical. I was paying over $80/mo and $15/mo seemed too good to be true. I saw one of their ads with Ryan Reynolds that said they use T-Mobile's network and figured it was worth a shot since it was basically half of my AT&T bill to try Mint for three months. BEST DECISION EVER. Mint is not only a fraction of the price but I have better coverage and speeds than I did with AT&T. The whole process of transferring my number and getting my eSIM running was so smooth. I did have to contact their customer service because AT&T was doing some of their usual funny business when I was trying to transfer my number, and their customer service is amazing! The agent was so friendly and helpful. They helped me get everything resolved with AT&T in no time. Now that I switched my wife and mom over, I'm saving even more. After my 3 months were up, I renewed for a year to keep the best price. I don't know if there's a better feeling than knowing I just had to make one payment and I'm saving nearly THOUSANDS this year. My family's trip to Hawaii this year is all possible because of Mint. If you're having any doubts, DON'T. Switching was one of the best decisions you'll ever make. The only regret you'll have is why you didn't do it sooner.

I hate myself for buying this without reading the reviews. Activation didn’t work because the link to the Mint app just takes you to the regular Mint app and you have no way to enter the 10 digit PIN. Now I have to contact Mint or Best Buy on the phone to sort out this mess. Awful product. What a waste of time. Avoid like the dumpster fire it truly is.

I bought this esim online and the instructions from BestBuy don't match what's needed to activate the esim on your phone. I spend hours talking to both BestBuy and Mint Mobile and each just pointed at the other. I wasted my $45 and will buy something from another mobile company.

Had to return because this is for phones that don’t use a physical SIM card-they use digital. Was on the phone for three days before someone knew what was going on.

BBY sent the email with the code and the link. Used it on Android phone to install the correct app, (must input 10 digits, not 11). Put in request for new number and zip code, then it says set password, stalls out indefinitely on activation step.

I read the reviews but thought I could make it work. I was so wrong. Best Buy does not have the correct 11 digit alphanumeric code. I can't get a refund or a sim card that works.

Do not buy this. They don't actually send the activation information needed. I have been on calls with mint mobile support and best buy and I am getting the run around.
