Nothing's About to Happen to Me is the eighth studio album by Mitski. All songs and vocals are by Mitski. The album was produced and engineered by Patrick Hyland and mastered by Bob Weston, with assistance on drums and logistics from Kris Bulakowski. Continuing the musical through line established with The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We, the album features live instrumentation by The Land touring band and ensemble arrangements. The orchestra was recorded at Sunset Sound and TTG Studios, arranged and conducted by Drew Erickson, engineered by Michael Harris, with additional engineering by Isaac Diskin and assistance from Alex Miller.Mitski is currently writing the music and lyrics for the musical adaptation of The Queen's Gambit. Her concert film, Mitski The Land, recently had it's cinematic in 27 countries, and was accompanied by The Land The Live Album. Album Tracks 1. In a Lake 2. Where's My Phone? 3. Cats 4. If I Leave 5. Months after winning the 1960 International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Maurizio Pollini signed an exclusive contract with EMI and recorded two albums dedicated to the Polish composer. While the first, featuring the Piano Concerto No. 1, was warmly received upon , the second, comprising the Études faced an uncertain fate. Pollini withdrew his approval during post-production, offering no explanation. For decades, this recording seemed destined to remain unheard. However, in 2011, it was finally approved by Pollini and released in an edited version. This new 2025 edition, the first to be remastered from the original tapes, not only highlights Pollini's technical brilliance but also reveals the touching sensitivity of the 18-year-old pianist.
