I started watching the later seasons and became hooked on the show. Love the actors an storylines. Will definitely become a classic series.

Funny and just easy to watch with family or friends!

Modern Family is a fresh take on family life in the now. Although it's characters are all "comfortable" (the main patriarch is a self made millionaire), they are still relatable. The dialogue is quick witted and often takes multiple viewings to catch everything that is thrown at you. It's smart, funny and has no problems touching on subjects families face and sometimes ones other shows are uncomfortable talking about. It's always fun and it's pretty much guaranteed you will laugh every episode.

Modern Family - losing the Emmy for season 6 notwithstanding - is still the best written and acted comedy on TV. The writers are brilliant at fitting so many storylines into every 22 minutes. The cast is a hoot. Everyone gets their moment to shine in every episode. I have seasons 1-5 - buying #6 was a no brainer. If only for the wonderful episode that all takes place on various devices - cellphones and laptops and tablets. Classic.

We own all the seasons of "Modern" and to be honest, this isn't my favorite one of them all...but it's a must own. Phil and Jay are who do it for me. Their characters are so well portrayed by O'Neill and Burrell. The rest of the crew obviously, is very strong. There are some pretty original skits, mixed with some classic stuff. Mitch and Cam, are a perfect fit...and I really enjoy Claire, with her parenting "style."

Modern Family is probably the single funniest show on television! It's humor is appropriate for all ages and has youngsters, young adults, and my parents all in stitches! We have most of the series on DVD now, and we plan on picking up the rest very soon. We haven't come across an episode that hasn't been fantastic! We would definitely recommend this show to literally anyone with a sense of humor.

I hadn't heard anything about this show prior to seeing it on sale since I don't have HBO, so decided to lookup reviews for it, So glad I did. It really is a great show and I agree with another reviewer that compared it to Big Bang Theory without a laugh track. Going to get Season 2 and heard that there will a Season 3.

My brother recommended that I watch this show after he saw an epsiode while on a plane. That was a few years ago. I've been a fan of the show since. The show is consistently well written and well acted. My brother and I are convinced that Jay Prichard is what Al Bundy would've become if life went his way. LOL!

America's favorite family is back. Watch as the Dunphy and Pritchett family get back together for a new series of fun filled laughs. Leaving right where they left off, watch as Cameron and Mitchell start the series coming off their honeymoon. Always great for family entertainment and good laughs.

Both my teenage daughter - I LOVE watching this comedy + it is our favorite. The characters are lovable + interesting, + well developed. The situations make for memorable laughs, + this is something all the family can enjoy. This show is one of the VERY few you can watch numerous times + enjoy each showing!

My brother introduced me to Modern Family a few years ago. He saw a few episodes while on an overseas flight and wanted me to see the show since we're both Ed O'Neil fans from his Married with Children days. I've been a fan of the show since. The DVD set is basic. Great extras. I got what I paid for.

If the 8th season is as good as the first and vice versa, why wouldn't the seasons in between be just as good? Plus as a sitcom its not required to watch in numerical succession in order to enjoy the show, proof is all the times I watch the random episodes in syndication.

This show is one of my favourites and each season doesn't disappoint. In my opinion, the digital heavy episode was the best, and something completely different. I easily could have failed on so many levels but the writers for this show and the actors pulled it off perfectly.

I have all seasons currently available on DVD. While the quality may not be as supreme as Blu-ray, it's still just as nice watching regularly scheduled programming. No real extras included, but great comedy from the same actors we've grown to love. Enjoy!
