Lily and Madeleine Jurkiewicz create candid music with deep emotional and personal resonance. The sisters, who record under the moniker Lily & Madeleine, boldly explore what it means to be women in the 21st century, and aren't afraid to use their music to call out injustice or double standards. This fearless approach has permeated their three albums, which are full of insightful lyrics and thoughtful indie-pop. But with their fourth studio album
Limited edition of 1000 numbered copies on purple coloured 180-gram audiophile vinyl. Jonathan Sings! Is the fourth album by American rock band Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers, and was released in 1983. Richman emerges as an incurable romantic on Jonathan Sings!, an infectiously sunny effort which stands among his finest LPs. Recorded after a long layoff with a new Modern Lovers lineup, Richman sounds thoroughly recharge, even extolling the simple virtues of InchThis Kind of MusicInch; among his other enthusiasms are kids; InchNot Yet ThreeInch and travel; InchGive Paris One More ChanceInch, but his primary focus here is romance, InchYou're the One for Me,Inch InchThat Summer FeelingInch and InchSomeone to Hold MeInch are positively joyous.
