Moonlight Haze - Interstellar Madness - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Moonlight Haze - Beyond Symphonic power metal to the moon and back InchBeyondInch is a perfect mixture of heavy, melodic and super catchy songs recorded in the old fashioned way with little to no edits - Moonlight Haze went ?organic' this time, with a little help from the acclaimed producer Sascha Paeth that was able to make some of the classic features of the band emerge and shine even more. The Italian unit keeps delivering it's trademark killer refrains while exploring new musical territory, further experimenting throughout ten tracks highlighted by yet another stellar vocal performance courtesy of Chiara Tricarico. Moonlight Haze's fourth record is a journey through time and space, galactic landscapes and earthly elements; a never-ending quest for a deeper reality and a purest inner truth. Soul searching symphonic power metal, if you please.

The band kept up experimenting with electronic samples, folk music and even more unpredictable sonic elements; a deeper musical research and a thoughtful inner exploration for a silvery dream, deep in the haze of the moonlight. The album's lyrics are very introspective yet confident and positive, even though they deal with tough themes sometimes, investigating the deepest abyss of our conscience and the complexity of human relationships. In addition, legends and tales from different traditions and cultures will fascinate your imagination and give you some time to think quietly over life and nature. Led by the former Temperance frontwoman, the stunning Chiara Tricarico, Moonlight Haze is a more than welcomed breath of fresh air in the symphonic-power metal scene.

Moonlight Haze / ANIMUS - Lyrically-wise it's an introspective and intimate work, but at the same time it looks at the world outside - willing to bring a bright message of vitality and rebirth. Hence the title, 'Animus', a Latin word that has different meanings vital force, conscience, soul, mind and courage as well.
