Morbid Angel - Entangled in Chaos - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Originally recorded way back in 1986 with original drummer MikeBrowning, this shelved debut album is a fascinating chance to hearAmerican death metal icons Morbid Angel in an embryonic stage, featuringfuture classics like 'Chapel Of Ghouls' and 'Lord Of All Fevers AndPlague' (titled simply 'Lord Of All Fevers' here). Browning would leavethe band shortly after recording, going on to form legendary sci-fideath metal outfit Nocturnus, whilst Morbid Angel would recruitlightning-fast percussionist Pete Sandoval for their debut album proper'Altars Of Madness', and the rest is history - but there's an undeniablyotherworldly energy captured on this rare recording that makes it amust-have for death metal die-hards.

Reissue. After enjoying worldwide success with the previous 5 classic albums, Morbid Angel had established themselves kings of the Death Metal genre with their revolutionary and unapologetic sound. Back in October 2000, Morbid Angel emphatically announced their return with 'Gateways of Annihilation' - this intensely dark and intricate album is a historic masterpiece that emanates strength with it's dynamic and sweeping passages and brutal lyrical content.

Recorded at Nottingham's Rock City during the 1989 Grindcrusher Tour, Juvenilia captures a young Morbid Angel at their most ferocious, blasting through tracks from their then recently released debut Altars Of Madness with reckless abandon.Originally released on vinyl as a Record Store Day exclusive in 2015, the live album was later included in the Altars Of Madness Ultimate Edition in 2020 - but this is the first time Juvenilia has been made available as a stand-alone CD. If you never got to see Morbid Angel's original line-up on stage, or if you were there and want to relive those hazy memories, then this is a great way to own an essential part of the band's history.
