Morbius - Malicious Rites - CASSETTES

Morbius - Alienchrist / Recorded at Gallagher Studios in Sterling, VA in 1994, AlienChrist was the product of intense rehearsal, recreational drugs, and a mutual progression in the technical skills of members Jason Weir, V. Bee Somphone, Andy Sylvester, and Matt Sylvester. With classic tracks such as InchGhostsInch, a song about an out-of-control L. S. D. trip, InchVisitors From WithinInch, an intersection of alien and human consciousness, and InchRitualistic FilthInch, an unholy spell that summons an abhorrent monster, the album is a mix of hallucinogenic doom and technical viciousness, giving one an engaging listening experience (and if you are lucky, an acid flashback). The final track, InchMysteries Of The WormInch, is a three-song neo-Christian epic, consisting of two previously recorded songs - InchMortal RealmsInch from the band's 1990 Realm Demo and InchRemains of JahvehInch from The Shades Below album - and a new chapter, InchThirst Of The HereticInch the final nails in the symbolic cross. V. Bee Somphone left MORBIUS shortly after AlienChrist was released by Dutch tag Cyber Music in 1995. The album was re-released by Lost Apparitions Records in 2016 as the band was re-forming for a three-year live performance stint with newly recruited member Mike Bossier. The cover art, painted by artist Phil Merkle, is based on a frame from the movie Alien 3.

Michael Edgerton´s piano works - previously unheard acoustic interior views (Noise), viruosity that transcends the possibilities of the instrument (Sonata) and a bow to Olivier Messiaen (Trush)

When talking about Teutonic (German) Thrash Legend Pioneers it's essential to speak of ACCU§ER with the same hushed reverence as SODOM, KREATOR, and DESTRUCTION. ACCU§ER is a thrash metal band from Kreuztal, Germany that formed in the early 80's flying the crunchy speed & thrash metal flag with all the fervor of the most intense mosh pit imaginable. Despite not landing a contract with a major tag for their early albums, the band continued to a string of successful underground releases before disbanding for eight years. After Frank and René decided to get Accuser back together, the saga continued with the band releasing one album with Century Media and their three most recent albums with Metal Blade Records. The guitars are energetic and thick as a brick with aggressive melodic vocals. ACCU§ER is the perfect band for those who worship at the altar of technical thrash and speed metal in the vein of classic Metallica, Slayer, Believer, Death Angel, Dark Angel and Deliverance. With such strong lyrical content and musical brilliance, fans can now have access to these previously high-priced collectibles.
