MORE THAN JOHN's debut album, O, is a deeply introspective yet anthemic folk-inspired record. Blending rich acoustic instrumentation with evocative storytelling, it resonates with fans of alternative folk, singer-songwriter, and contemporary acoustic music. For Fans Of Nick Drake, The Tallest Man on Earth, José González, Sufjan Stevens, Fleet Foxes, Damien Rice Quote from John Engdahl InchRecording at RMV's studio was an incredible experience. I was nervous that morning-I'm always nervous when meeting new people. I had met Alex for the first time the day before and was meeting Linn for the first time at the studio. The recording felt good, though of course I think I could have done better. But we wanted to capture the songs in a natural state-not too rehearsed and without too many takes or edits. We recorded for a day and felt satisfied with what we got.Inch (Editor's note RMV - Riksmixningsverket - is the legendary studio on Skeppsholmen in Stockholm, owned by Benny Andersson of ABBA, where Linn Fijal serves as head recording engineer and producer.)
