Scorpion WINS! I love all Mortal Kombat games and this one is the best to date!! Graphics are phenomenal and love all the special moves with the up close brutality that MK can only produce!!! Recommend anyone to buy that is a fan or starting out in video games.

Great fun game with many options for individualization. Pick your power moves, outfits with power up options, and super extended combo chains possible. Great option for single or multiplayer uses. Super high replayability.

We absolutely love this game and the updated graphics! Might be too much for children under 17 but that’s just my opinion.

Like this game good for adults and like the updates

After greatly enjoying MK9 and MKX, this entry feels like a step down in quality regarding most aspects. Roster is varied enough and gameplay is fine, but combat overall feels slower and less fluid than previous titles. Gear system makes for cool rewards and customization options, but makes equipping special dlc skins more convoluted than necessary. Most frustrating of all is the way that basic aspects of the game require an online connection to work. So if the server is temporarily down or your connection is not working, you cannot unlock rewards, earn xp towards your profile, save custom character moves and costumes, or access the krypt. If I knew all this before and Spawn wasn't a DLC character, I would have skipped this game altogether.

This is another great game in the series as it brings back familiar characters and several new ones to the roster. NetherRealm usually delivers on the story as they have been and it is fun, but I would say only one playthough. Some chapters have two different characters you can play as, but not much changes other than dialogue. The gameplay has changed quite a bit: matches have slowed down, no X-rays but instead krushing blows and fatal blows, and you can customize characters now. Although, not to the extent of Injustice 2, each character has three customizable slots and skins you can choose from. A lot of the skins are simply different colors. It now includes an extensive tutorial to help you understand the fundamentals and advance your skills. The krypt is a nice addition in which you play in third person and walk around opening chests for new fatalities, brutalities, gear, et cetera. Gameplay being the most important thing in a fighting game, I will say more about it. Meter works differently as there are two for offensive and another two for defensive. Offensive can be used to amplify moves for more damage or to extend a combo; defensive is used for wake-up attacks, rolling, and breaking away from a combo in midair. Other mechanics do use use both so you have to be weary and keep an eye on the meter when you want to spend it. Fatal blows which are the new X-rays are not available until your health is at about 30% and are basically there for you to be able to make a comeback. The gameplay within a match does feel like it has slowed down, but I would it is for the better. In a way, it forces you to not mash buttons and be smart about when and how to approach your opponent.

Mortal Kombat 11 is lots of fun. The story mode was amazing and felt like a movie. The gameplay is somewhat identical to the previous Mortal Kombat games in the past few years. Characters can be customized a bit more and you can unlock a lot more costume skins. There's a few things I don't like about this version of the game, such as the weak roster and the lack of tag team online gaming, but I'm hopeful that a future DLC update with more content and features would be released in the future. Fingers crossed. Unlockables were a bit of intensive work in the beginning but thankfully the developers have released a patch which awards you 50,000 koins - putting you in a position to unlock a lot more stuff throughout the Krypt section of the game much faster. Over all, this is a good game.

I’m really enjoying the latest version of one of my all-time favorite games! The visuals are awesome. Classic and newer characters make the game exciting. The gameplay is so familiar, it easy to jump right in! The story modes are entertaining as well. This game met all of my expectations.

Yup, another mortal kombat game. It seems it’s a MK fans job to buy the new MK game when they make one but they never disappoint. These games always have improved graphics, fun new twist and characters, and of course fun loving fatalities that keep a MK game lover happy and satisfied.

The Story is amazing. It really brings it together. Game play is the best yet and details looks so much more real. the finishing moves and even in game intense attacks are very brutal. I beat the story recently. I actually had to change it to medium difficulty from hard to beat the last boss. She is ridiculous on hard mode. I am going to go back though and beat her on hard. But after countless losses i was losing my mind and had to change the setting. WHich even on medium she was still hard! Overall worth the purchase. So much you can do now also with customizing and just so much life in the game aside from just the story mode! If you are a MK fan, this is a must add to your collection.

Easy game play...lots of new interesting moves...the story mode plays like a movie, which very cool. The fatalities and brutalities are jaw dropping. It has have a fan could want in a fighting game.

MK11 is violent masterpiece. The combos, graphics, story, customization are all wonderful but the microtransactions are stupid. Now an update for the krypt has been released which has made that mode alot better than it was after release with its extreme grind for useless materials and lack of rewards especially when doing the towers which were extremely difficult and frustrating to progress leaving you less motivated to do try or even care to play. Now with the patches out the towers are alittle better and rewards for krypt are improved. I recommend this game but do wish that my favorite franchise's would stop this microtransactions and sneaky practices implemented in trying to get more money.

If you like the last MK, this is the same engine, gameplay but both are much deeper. Story mode and mechanics both are very deep. Graphics and of course THE FATALTIES are just superb...
