Sightless Pit is the project of duo Lee Buford (The Body) and Dylan Walker (Full of Hell). Buford and Walker are born collaborators, known for their ability to subvert musical expectations, transcend genre and plunge headlong into the unknown. Across the album, the two highly inventive musical omnivores are buoyed by an astounding menagerie of eclectic and celebrated collaborators including Gangsta Boo (Three 6 Mafia), YoshimiO (Boredoms), Frukwan (Gravediggaz), Claire Rousay, Midwife, Lane Shii Otayonii (Elizabeth Colour Wheel), Foie Gras, and more. Their work with the likes of Thou, Uniform, Merzbow, and Nothing, taken together with their The Body & Full of Hell albums, have established each as singular voices and masterful alchemists of heavy music. The duo shares an affection for rhythm-based beat music, disparate electronic genres, dub, as well as darkly-hued atmospheric ambience. Lockstep Bloodwar exceeds expectations by stunningly combining the noise and confrontational posturing they are both well known for with pulsing and kaleidoscopic electronic samples, drum machines, and grizzled synths.1 Resin on a Knife (feat Midwife)2 Calcified Glass (feat YoshimiO & Gangsta Boo)3 Flower to Tomb (feat Lane Shi Otayonii)4 Lockstep Bloodwar5 Low Orbit (feat Frukwan & Industrial Hazard)6 False Epiphany (feat claire rousay)7 Shiv (feat Crownovhornz)8 Morning of a Thousand Lights9 Futilities (feat Foie Gras)

High Roller Records, ltd 350, 425gsm heavy cardboard cover, partial UV spot, insert, download code, Los Angeles-based thrash metallers Mindwars are back with their fifth studio album, InchVInch. Originally self-released by the band in early 2024, it now gets it's well-deserved international exposure via High Roller Records. The trio, led by Mike Alvord, guitarist and co-founder of the legendary Holy Terror, along with Italian drummer Roby Vitari and bassist Rick Zaccaro, showcases a blend of classic thrash with a wealth of killer riffs and lyrical depth. Mindwars were founded in 2013, almost 25 years after a chance meeting between Alvord and Vitari in Europe that started a life-long friendship. The band name, of course, refers to Holy Terror's second album InchMind WarsInch (1988), yet the project represents a new chapter for the guitarist. InchI didn't want anyone to think this was a continuation of Holy Terror, Inch he clarifies. InchI always looked at it as an appendage or extension, and it is only natural that there are hints of Holy Terror in our music.Inch With Vitari's relocation to L.A. and the most recent addition of Zaccaro, Mindwars entered a new creative phase. InchHaving a more varied musical background and playing live together more often really brought us closer as a band, Inch explains Alvord, whose approach to singing has also matured on InchVInch. InchI really tried to hear melodies as a vocalist and to stay within my range, Inch which gave him the confidence to even record a thrashified cover of Supertramp's 'The Logical Song'. Elsewhere, InchVInch surprises with the nimble instrumental 'The Road to Madagascar', which was inspired by an emotional visit to a Holocaust museum, and the nine-minute 'Vultures of the Eighth Wonder', an epic journey blending influences from Al Di Meola and prog rock with metal. Inch It took about a year and a half to write
