Mr T Experience - Miracle Of Shame - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

One of the things that struck Oberst as he and the band went through twenty-plus years of music is that he may in fact have been writing the same song this whole time. Not sonically, of course, but conceptually. This last wave contains, in Noise Floor, early Bright Eyes songs so raw Oberst never even released them back in the day, as well as, in Cassadaga and The People's Key, the band's most polished and sophisticated albums. When Bright Eyes toured Cassadega they performed an epic 7 sold-out nights at NYC's Town Hall. What's more grown-up rockstar than that? And yet...InchThematically those early songs are not that different than the songs I make now,Inch Oberst says, shaking his head. InchThere's something affirming and disheartening about it. It's like, have I really changed or grown? But maybe it's just that I knew what I wanted to write about from the beginning.Inch

MR. T EXPERIENCE, Road to Ruin cover album is a highly sought-after item in the MTX catalog. Originally released in 1998 as part of the RAMONES cover series by Clearview Records, it had a limited pressing, including an ultra-rare tour edition with a hand-screened cover. 25 years later, Sound Rad! Has reissued the record, preserving it's collectability. It has been remastered by Justin Perkins of Mystery Room Mastering and cut at 45 RPM for optimal sound quality. The first pressing is packaged in a gorgeous die-cut gatefold jacket and comes with a 11Inch x 17Inch poster. This record is a must for any fan of MR. T EXPERIENCE and RAMONES.

Mr. T Experience, And the Women Who Love Them was originally released during a time when the band was on the brink-in a way it was a last hurrah for The Mr. T Experience before going their separate ways. But the result was the opposite. The EP breathed new life into what was known as the MTX Starship- this EP was the spark that lit a fire under frontman Dr. Frank, who decided to drop everything and take a risk on rock and roll. The result was a funny and witty record that charmed the pants off old and new fans alike-laying the groundwork for some of the band's most popular releases just a few years later. This record is the first in a complete series of reissues by The Mr. T Experience-carefully remastered for the best sound possible.
