Purchased online and had it shipped to my house. Delivery was quick and the packaging was adequate. The PSU was silent and ran the 4090 with no issues. Package did include a braided 12VHPWR, PCle (16 PIN to 16 PIN) 600W cable. For the price, I was disappointed in the quality of the rest of the cables that weren’t braided. I ended up returning because the 12VHPWR cable was too short to aesthetically reach the psu in the fractal torrent case. I ended up going with the seasonic vertex and have to admit, all cables were higher quality and I didn’t have to compromise wiring aesthetics to reach the psu. Overall, I would recommend this product, it just didn’t work for my setup.

With tons of power to spare, all the connections you will need, ease of installation, and the dependability of high end components, you can't go wrong with the MSI A1000G power supply!

Great so far, puts out plenty of power, cables a good quality. I have it powering an Z790 carbon mb, I5 13600K, GeForce 4080, 32gbs of DDR5, 3 m.2 SSD's, Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Liquid cooler, and 10 RGB fans with no issue.

One of the great MSI PCIE 5.0 modular power supplies on the market works fantastic with my Asus ROG Strix 4090 OC and AMD Ryzen 9 5950x

My prior PSU failed randomly (not surprising since it was cheaply made) so I immediately went to Best Buy to find a quality one. I ended up with this bad boy and let me tell you - this PSU has exceeded my expectations. Just by swapping to this PSU, my PC makes literally zero noise to the point that I forget it's on! It also has a zero fan feature that allows the PSU to regulate itself based on temperature I believe. I run a 12900KF and 3080 and it powers my motherboard/parts flawlessly. Would definitely recommend, and I now have my PSU for the future if I decide to upgrade anything later down the line.

Hello all if you're looking for a power supply you have to look no further get this PSU you will not be disappointed. MSI has the best products and cable management is a breeze due to the fact that if you don't need the cable there is a carrying case you can leave it in so stick it in your bag and leave it if you're looking for an upgrade from the lower power supply then choose this one for the upgrade. I am running the MSI rx 6800 plus 32 gigs of rgb memory 9 fans and have no problems with the power
Great power supply with all the cables you could need. Running an AMD 7700X and RTX 4090 no problems.

Amazing packaging, the 12VHPWR cable included so no need for NVIDIAs adapter, MSIs 12VHPWR cable has yellow connector ends so its very easy to tell if its not plugged in all the way, very quiet fan (cannot hear it even with case fans all off). Great value for a 1000w unit

Excellent gpu that pairs great with my 4090 and 13900k. Really like the new 12vhpwr cable for the gpu. Cables work well and haven't had an issues.

Great power supply. I got this to directly feed my 4080 with just one connector instead of the three supplied. Super clean install.

My old PSU was causing my system to crash. The GPU was screaming in agony with coil whine and couldn't perform well. After I upgraded to this one, it works like a charm. Even though my system gets hotter, it was a cool upgrade.
so this is actually wayy to good of an item and is kinda overkill for a pc if your on a budget build with will have no power supply issues in the future because this thing has so many fail safes to keep your computer protected from damage.

I have built computers since the 1980s; Have never had a PSU fail at least not a new one. Have had a few put out incorrect voltages causing odd things to happen but never one to just blow. After about 6 hours the PSU just stopped working; I was very concerned about damage to components, so I grabbed another PSU from my stash box, an old one that was in series in a server ran 24/7 for ten years, only replaced it as preventive maintenance. Kept it for testing components. Any case nothing was damaged the computer was fine, so I just assumed that I had overloaded the PSU. I needed a small form factor PSU for this build, so I ordered the MSI 1300 titanium. While I was waiting for the 1300 to arrive, I bench tested the 1000 only to discover that it was completely dead; Since it was the first part that I ordered it was no longer eligible for return. I am out 200 dollars but could have been much worse. But now knowing that this is the first PSU to fail on me in over 30 years; I became very concerned about the 1300 that I just ordered. After doing some research I was able to learn that the 1300 titanium is made for MSI by a different company than the one who makes the 1000, the 1300 is made by CWS a good PSU company and the 1300 is ten times better power supply for a buck buck fifty more you get a much better power supply sleaved cables USB port for monitoring usage dual rails and a huge heat sink inside the unit. If you go to other sites that sell this MSI 1000 PSU and just read the negative reviews you will see an overwhelming amount of DOA issues, on amazon alone there is 3 pages of DOA complaints. I tried this with corsair and other PSU brands and their negative reviews were mixed not all saying DOA. I believe that what is causing the problem is that if you even come close to using more than 750 watts the power supply will fail. I can recommend the 1300 but not the 1000. My pictures show the 1000 and the 1300 the 1300 has the gold highlights and is just slightly longer.

Had the MSI 850 prior, which was a power horse. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable PSU.
