I got this mobo for my new build and it looks and runs great. Plenty of features and was able to flash the bios without issue. I was able to overclock my i7-12700k to 5.1 GHz and beyond but I keep it running at 4.9 GHz and it stays under 50 celsius under load and in the 30 range at idle/under light load. MSI mystic light isn't playing friendly with my Lian Li and Corsair parts so I am using 2 software suites to control the lights. Running my 64 gb of DDR 5600 ram at 5000 without issue, but I am seeing issues with the XMP profiles. XMP profiles are not stable just yet for DDR5 at this time not the fault of this board.

Pros - Has lots of USBs including USB 2.0 - 20GB USB-C port - 2.5GB Ethernet and WIFI 6e - Two PCIE 5 slots - Five M.2 slots - Lots of heat sinks - Great aesthetic design Cons - Expensive - Bios is trash - Lacks a forth pcie expansion slot - No pcie 5 nvme slots - No 5gb or 10gb Ethernet ports In conclusion, it is a good board but it would be nice to see a little more for $400. I chose this board mostly for the second pcie 5 slot, and I am enjoying it so far. If you are looking for a mid-range board with lots of features, this is definitely a good choice.

I haven't put a PC together in quite a while; an easy 8+ years. So, I felt a little intimidated as technologies change and I being lazy; don't keep up. Was a simple install, I like the M.2 heatsink as I got M.2 drives that didn't have heatsinks already. The graphical BIOS is a nice touch as well, as I'm used to the old text version. No issues at all with the board, very much recommend it.

Not a big tech savvy person but i prefer my pc to look good and last me long. Currently i am satisfied with my build look and performance. Finger crossed that it lasts long. I use it with my DDR5 32gb RAM from Corsair and intel i7 13th gen

Excellent, and fantastic motherboard! This Motherboard has amazing DDr5 support, with enough Vrm for i9 12900k. I am impressed with the look of the board with its Rgb and sleek carbon looks. It has plenty of rear Usb connectivity, wifi 6e, and usb c gen 2! Overall very happy with this Purchase!

This a great product. Looks great and functions very well. I have a 3080ti, i9 12900k, 32gb DDR5 and 3 m.2 SSD’s. BIOS are super easy to navigate, and booting initially was very easy. This is a great mobo for the price and tailored for higher end builds.

Great motherboard with adequate heat sinks and solid build quality. Ton of usb ports as well. Good bios with plenty of overclocking options. Only one usb 3.0 header which is kind of a bummer but everything else I have no issues with.

Looks amazing in my case and it has a lot of great features!
Beautiful motherboard with RGB accents. Love the I/O panel with built in faceplate. Built in NVME thermal pads are nice-to-haves. MSI Mystic is a bit wonky, but it does a much better job staying synced with Razer Chroma than my previous board did. Overall, a very solid motherboard.

Bought this motherboard in May 22, assembled my PC and started using it in June. After a few months, the system started to throw a BIOS error and in January the machine failed to boot. I tried multiple solutions including a BIOS upgrade but nothing worked. Since I didnt purchase BB protection plan, I contacted MSI and opened up RMA, shipped the motherboard to repair. They shipped back the motherboard stating its fixed but when I plugged it in, the issue remained. Its been an year after purchasing this product and its completely useless. Would never buy any MSI product again!

I bought this motherboard with a i7-13700k Intel CPU and an RTX 4070 ti GPU. I bought this motherboard, because I wanted to use both the newer DDR5 memory, and pcie NVMe hard drive. Other reviews said they had to flash the bios. I did not have to do so. I had a few hurdles I had to navigate once the computer was assembled. Mainly, the hardware did not want to talk to the software. (ie sound, ethernet, wireless etc. did not work) I believe this was because I used my Windows 10 thumb drive from about 6 years ago. Thankfully, an old external wireless adapter did work. It let me download windows updates which slowly got everything working, and eventually upgraded the software to Windows 11. From reading other reviews, I have not seen anyone else with this problem. Just to be safe, I would use Windows 11 if I were to try this again. This motherboard-CPU/GPU combo plays games with EPIC settings. There are no slow downs. I'm very happy with my purchase. Although the different components are pretty will labeled, I would like MSI to have some online tutorials about how to assemble a PC. Assembling a PC yourself gets you a much better overall product.

I tried to like this MSI motherboard. It just had a lot of weird things happening to it. I consulted MSI and they wanted to RMA it. It kept spitting out error codes, restarting, resetting my bios settings. For a product that has been out for almost a year, you would think they would have more compatible DDR5 memory. Please don't be fulled with the support for over 6000mhz speeds, you might be able to run 6000mhz with one stick, try to do with two your PC is probably gonna be unstable. Also the chipset ran hot, close to 60 C idle and over 70 C when gaming. Couldn't get the 12th gen CPU I paired with it to even give me stock performance and when trying to do a slight overclock, literally the over clock cpu button in bios, lead to errors and the pc rebooting to the default bios. I really wanted to try to keep it but after taking nearly 2 weeks to fix the issues and still having no real solution I ended up just upgrading to another MSI board which ended up being stable with the DDR5 ram and gave me stock CPU performance that i was looking for.

A really flawless motherboard in my opinion (except for the price), I have not had or noticed any problems with it so far. I really appreciate features like the wifi 6e, 2 pcie gen 5, and the post code. Also really easy to work with as it has many fan headers all over the board meaning no matter where you have fans you can easily connect them to the motherboard. Lots of room for storage expansion as well with 5 m.2 slots and 6 sata ports. its also relieving to have the extra headroom on cpu power with the 18 phase vrms. Great io with 8 usb ports.

Works wonderfully, was looking high and low for some parts to update my computer to tip top shape and ran across this and the price point was exactly what I was looking for!
