I absolutely think this is the best laptop I have ever purchased. I love how fast it is to start up, the metal chassis is very sturdy, the screen is very bright and clear, great webcam, the keyboard is very quiet when typing and has a great feel to it, No issues playing video games, RGB lights are awesome and the software to operate the fans, lights, etc are very easy to use.

I use this laptop for animation and UX design, and the 17-inch screen combined with its modern look and feel has significantly boosted my mood and productivity. Switching from Mac to this machine has been a game-changer. It offers incredible performance at a great price, and I particularly enjoy the NVIDIA graphics capabilities. I highly recommend it to anyone transitioning away from Apple products and seeking a high-end alternative within a reasonable price range.

An absolute beast. I do think the pricing on this could be lower, but otherwise I am more than happy. I primarily use this docked away and connected to a 1440p 240 hz+ monitor, and it is incredible for this use case. For that reason, I can't speak much on the laptop's display. However, performance is incredible and as I'd expect for these specs. Consider this if you wanted effectively a desktop replacement you can travel anywhere with (just make sure your backpack can handle/fit it!).

In MSHybrid mode with 240hz selected, there is screen flickering. If changed to 60hz there is no flickering. In discrete graphics mode and 240hz selected no flickering and the laptop runs like a BEAST! Love this laptop as otherwise, its PERFECT!

I am a first generation MSI owner. I purchased in 2016. I still have this amazing computer. Recently I have upgraded and purchased the MSI Raider GE78. All I can say is excellent gaming computer with an amazing large screen. I use it as a computer and to watch movies and television.

Terrible battery life, maybe an hour off the charger. Speed is very slow for this level of computer. Overall dissatisfied.

for the most part this rig does not disappoint. I was dismayed to see that still, after the purchase of a slightly less expensive but still pricey MSI model 2 months before for my son - the periodic 'blank screen' out of nowhere and subsequent drop out of app, closing it and any progress- was still a thing. At this price there should be no issues with screen reliability, vid card etc.
