I got this laptop, because I wanted to be able to do some casual gaming. Really just Sims and WoW. It has definitely met that need. Ut also works great for work and school, and friends have told me that the audio/video quality for video calling has improved drastically over my last laptop. The only issues I’ve had are that the battery drains quickly and the computer heats up a lot when running games. These are easily solved by plugging the laptop in while gaming and using a cheap cooling pad. Overall I still find it a great purchase for the price. In reviews, I had read that the screen wasn’t very bright, even on its highest setting, but I haven’t found that to be true at all. So, it’s exceeded my expectations and serves my needs well.

Performance: It was good, BeamNG Drive did struggle a little bit, running on 60 FPS with RTX, and 4k off. Minecraft was easy to run. The battery lasted up to 1.5 hours running BeamNG Drive. Fans were on the loud side, so just raise the volume. Usage: It was decent for working on google docs, simple video editing, and small streaming. Good for gaming beginners or small business platforms. Size: It was about 17.6 inches wide, so I had a medium bag. Specs: Has RTX 3050, 8GB of RAM (I added more ram, has 2 slots!) 512GB SSD, and Intel i5. Keyboard: It was fairly good, didn’t have to press hard, the keyboard didn’t bend down as much. I used my Logitech G502 mouse! Overall:For my first ever gaming equipment, it was really good. I think having this $700+ gaming laptop is worth it for small, new people, with the 8 GB RAM, and GeForce RTX 3050, it rocked. The 512 GB SSD was perfect for small games. The 15.6 inch screen was perfect to fit in medium bags/backpacks. The weight was a little issue, but still fit perfectly. The Wi-Fi range was kind of bad, as I had to be right next to my router. The opening of the box was decent, had a nice sticker, and some foam between the keyboard. I replaced it with the MSI Titan with RTX 4090 and 128 RAM. (And I’m still new at gaming computers).

The laptop works great, both for gaming and everyday work tasks. It’s very quiet and runs games at speed with few hiccups or issues. I enjoy the design, which is very ergonomic and sensible. The only problem is the battery life, which is about 4 hours when using multiple internet tabs and 2 hours when gaming, so it’s not exceptionally portable.
