Municipal Waste - Tango & Thrash - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Deluxe edition includes bonus track. Undisputed masters of the crossover genre, Richmond, Virginia's Municipal Waste return for their fifth full-length album in their endless quest to bring the fury, bring the laughs and bring the party to obscene new lows. Their hell-bent quest for infectious riffs and never-ending head banging sessions has finally led them to Nuclear Blast for a debut party-on-disc that won't soon be forgotten. Tasked with the noble aim of spreading the shred, the Fatal Feast is a more complete album than ever before. More bang, more intensity and a rounder sound make this not only the perfect party record, but also a natural fit for their epically ridiculous live shows.

Municipal Waste - Massive Aggressive [COMPACT DISCS] date 08/24/2009

2022 . Thrash should leave you breathless, busted-up, and maybe even a little drunk (in a cutoff denim vest adorned with barely legible patches). Since 2001, Municipal Waste have uncompromisingly stuck to their guns as hard-partying and even harder-hitting torchbearers of 21st century thrash metal. The Richmond, VA quintet have transformed from a cult favorite into metal mainstays for a generation. Municipal Waste maintain course as vicious and vital as ever on 2022's Electrified Brain. Recorded in Philadelphia with producer Arthur Rizk [Power Trip, Code Orange], they achieved Incha thicker and heavier soundInch than before. The debut single InchGrave DiveInch hinges on a downright mean palm-muted riff as a percussive onslaught commences. It builds towards a gang chant call-and-response before a lead rips. In the end, Electrified Brain will give you everything you'd want from a Municipal Waste record or heavy metal record, period.
