InchTruth is a wave,Inch Kael Smith pronounces, InchA rave I just can't hear.Inch On Smith's second album under the Mute Forest moniker, truth seems to slip in and out of his hands like a moth. Amongst the album's ten sonically rich and verdant songs produced by Mike Bridavsky (Magnolia Electric Co, Rivulets) these moments of clarity are bountiful; textural brush strokes strip away, the lens focuses in, and with a magnifying glass the listener peers directly into Smith's vulnerability.

Tone Forest is a contemporary jazz ensemble co-founded in 2018 by Miro Sprague (piano) Jason Ennis (guitar), and Marty Jaffe (bass). Drawing from jazz, world music and free improvisation, the trio cultivates a fresh sound that is adventurous, lyrical, and grounded in a deep sense of beauty and groove. Their collaboration stems back decades from their common roots in western Massachusetts, where they developed deep chemistry and a rich musical bond.

Forest Swords unveils his new album on Ninja Tune. Bolted is available on 'fresh green' transparent LP, limited edition 'winter wind' opaque deluxe LP, and CD. Spending the past few years working as an in-demand composer and sound designer - writing music for ballet, film and video games - 'Bolted' was recorded over the past year in a warehouse factory space in Barnes' home city of Liverpool. Across it's 11 tracks he dives deeper into his unique sonic vocabulary to weave together a set of tracks that sounds equally muscular and bleak, haunting and euphoric. As ever in his music, melancholy and joy, monochrome and colour, past and future all feel ambiguous. Emotions shift from moment to moment, the differences between digital and acoustic instruments more smeared than ever a queering of time, space and sonics that feels both playful and totally vital.
