About this product
Premiering in 1960 and setting the template for family sitcoms, this comedy series starred Fred MacMurray as Steve Douglas, a widower raising three sons on his own. When not holding down a job as an aeronautics engineer, Steve is holding down the fort as his sons get into mischief and offering in with their youthful dilemmas. Luckily, Steve's ornery, live-in father-in-law "Bub" is there to help keep the disorder to a minimum. One of TV's longest- running series at the time, MY THREE SONS eventually burst the bounds of it's premise in the 1970s, as Mike, Robbie, and Chip grew up and started families of their own. This collection presents the first batch of episodes from the sitcom's debut season. Star Fred MacMurray, Barry Livingston, Stanley Livingston, William Demarest, Tim Considine, William Frawley, Don Grady

My Three Sons is a delightful slice-of-life comedy about the American family. The series chronicles the life of the Douglas family; a seemingly simple premise that was a huge hit with audiences and a keystone of the TV family lineup in the '60s. Fred MacMurray delivers a standout portrayal as Steve Douglas, an aeronautical engineer and widower raising his three sons alone.

One of the longest running and most popular of all television westerns, Bonanza was both an action/adventure classic and family drama. For fourteen seasons, audiences enthusiastically tuned in to see the High-Sierra adventures of the Cartwright clan. Nestled amongst the pines above the shores of Lake Tahoe is the Ponderosa ranch, the thousand-acre home of Ben Cartwrignt and his sons, Adam, Hoss and Joe (aka InchLittle Joe.Inch) Plots featuring revolving cast of interesting guest players helped to set Bonanza apart from the usual gun-slinging formula Westerns of the day.
