Mythemia - Nimmerland - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Jim O'Rourke first joined Mimir for Mimyriad in 1992. It was completed and released as the first Streamline CD in 1993. In 1998, a radically remixed and reedited version was issued as a limited-edition Streamline LP. This new CD contains a remastered version of the Mimyriad LP material and comes in a reworked and updated package.

Best known for the platinum hit InchSilenceInch w. Sarah McLachlan, Delerium has explored dark ethereal ambient, voiceless industrial soundscapes, & electronic pop music. These, and a stunning range of other influences are heard on Mythologie. With 5 beautifully talented singers from 3 different countries seamlessly blended with a gorgeous palate of electronica, Mythologie shows Delerium at it's best

Replica vinyl in tip-on sleeve of this supergroup's album from 1986. Remastered by renowned engineer Tony Dixon. Curated with the blessing of the Emerson, Lake and Powell families. Musical visionaries Keith Emerson and Greg Lake planned to reform ELP in 1984; however drummer Carl Palmer was unavailable. Into the frame stepped the legendary Cozy Powell. The band's self-titled studio album delivers material familiar in style to ELP with long progressive rock tracks, mellow ballads, and a classical theme ('Mars, The Bringer Of War' by Gustav Holst, a piece previously performed by Lake during his tenure in King Crimson).
