The consensus across the internet suggests this is the best electric heater available. I ended up installing 2 in an outdoor covered patio instead of propane heaters previously used. My issue is that infrared heat just isn't as warm and while they say it is not affected by wind in reality you feel it on your skin every time the wind blows and it is hard to feel warm when your skin is cold. I would definitely recommended if you have a closed outdoor area or live somewhere you are not regularly subjected to wind.
