My power supply was failing in my HP Desktop, after getting tired of doing the hair dryer trick, yes it does work in a bind, see You Tube if your PC won't start and you have a flashing green light in the back of the power supply. Anyway after deciding to buy a power supply and researching what I needed I decided to give this one a try as the price was right at $30. It was easy to install, just unscrew the old unit and pull the old connections and reconnect the new ones. Special notes: There are extra connectors for extra devices in the wiring harness. So I would suggest disconnecting one item at a time and reconnecting the new one rather then trying to figure out where the wires connect. It's easy just note some of the old connections might require a little pulling as they can be quite tight. Also look at the one you are putting on to see if it has a clip you may need to retract in order to disconnect. The fan noise is the same or less than the factory one it replaced. No issues at all with the unit.

Replaced my dead power supply with this model and my PC is up and running fine now. It has all the connections needed for 4 sata and 3 - 4 pin IDE connectors. Has large fan for great cooling and runs quiet. Also has connection for 6 pin PCI Express video card. Highly recommended for PC needing 400 watts or less PSU.

Got this on clearance cause I was just looking around for a new psu upgrade and this not only is really silent but runs really cool! Well worth the $25 I paid for it and fits well in my Lenovo H50

Good price, good power supply. The fan is a big one, so it's quiet. Honestly, it's exactly what you'd expect. Would recommend to anyone.

This power supply has the needed power, plenty of pig tails with all necessary connections, and is very easy to install.

This was purchased as a replacement for a 350w power supply for an XP machine. the connections worked for my model and looked as if it would work for other models as well. Take your old power supply in to help in the replacement comparison process. The Geek Squad confirmed my choice. Another independent store wanted $90 for a power supply...no way! This is a simple part of the computer and the price is appropriate.

This power supply is reasonably priced and gave me no surprises good or bad. The fan is also quiet and the supply does not get warm at all (as it should not get warm). I would buy this supply again. for a medium power output supply. The brand name is comforting too. This is suitable for a new build or a repair (I purchased it for a repair).

Was looking for power source for my PC DT but I didn't want to go online and buy it, I needed NOW.. so I was happy to know that BB still carried them in the store near my home..it made my day..! The item worked as planned and it was at a good price and more powerful than I expected for the cost.

Purchased this as a replacement power supply for an HP desktop. Thank goodness Best buy still carries these at a good price. BB is the only local place to get a replacement Power Supply in a hurry. This product fit my HP PC perfectly and got me back up and running quick.

This power supply is easy to install. Only took me a few minutes. It has worked fine ever since. I bought it as an upgrade from a 350W power supply. I was worried that it might not have all the connections, but it did. It even had a couple I didn't need. I would recommend it. The only thing keeping me from ranking it 5 stars is the fact that I have had it less than 6 months.

I needed to replace a dead power supply and this fit the bill. It was reasonably priced and easy to replace, even for someone like me who isn't tech-savvy.

Just purchased this power supply to replace one that quit. Had it installed by Best Buy (which they did within a couple of hours) and had it home that afternoon. Working well so far and very quiet. Decent price and will see how it holds up.

This power supply was on sale and met all requirements I was looking for. My old power supply stop working on a weekend, and I needed to locate another replacement immediately. My local Best Buy had exactly what I was looking for, on sale, and it was actually an upgrade to my pc's old power supply, so I am sure I will have more than enough power/watts to run everything I need to on my pc. I looked up on You Tube on how to intall it and after about 3 attempts, I was able to boot up my pc just fine. My advice is to not let all the wire hookups intimidate you, make a picture as you take out old wires when removing old power supply so you have a good idea where the new wire hook up to, and refer to diagram that comes with the new power supply. I know i save approx $100 or more by doing this myself.

My HP Pavilion Elite has been my home work PC for years, and hasn't ever let me down yet. I've added extra RAM to it to meet the need of newer software. However, after adding a PCI video card for HDMI port, the PS was maxed (300w). I bought this Insignia 400w PS to beef up my old workhorse. Sure enough it fit just right where the old one was. The only thing that took me a few minutes to sort out was the plug configurations: colors and arrangement slightly different than the old one. After connecting it properly, it fired right up and 'Shazam' video card (and all else) works great. Having had a PC of some sort since my Commodore 64, over the years I have not been disappointed with any Insignia products. Further, for the last 10 years or so, I have purchased at BB exclusively unless they didn't carry what I needed st the time. Did I mention that Best Buy's original sale price was $39.99? (I bought fair-n-square for $19)!

Installed in just a few minutes turned on and worked like a champ and a couple of months later it is still working and it never gets turned off.
