Amazing game with very difficult bosses and game play but a really cool learning curve. I wish I could go back to when I first picked up this game and knew nothing about it. Awesome world to explore and great fun to have with friends. One of the best games I've ever played. Even getting trolled by other players is fun.

This is an outstanding game. The graphics make this fantasy fantastic. You lose yourself in the characters and the combat. Reminds me of the good ole days of gaming for hours.

This is one of the toughest games in existence. However, beating it has left me with one of the most satisfying wins in video game history.

love the graphics, love the story, just can't get pay how challenging it is., of you're interested in the game watch out, this game was made to make you hurt. All about dodging so if that doesn't sounds like fun, dodging left and right almost the entire game this isn't the game for you. prepare to DIE!

Amazing action rpg game from a great franchise. Never gets old, tons of replay value. Very difficult and rewarding game. Every time you conquer an area or boss it feel like a tremendous victory. Love every game from Demon's Soul to Bloodborne.

Bought this game because I heard it was painfully difficult, not at all disappointed. I wanted a challenge and this gave me one for sure. I'm still stuck on level two! Fun game though, especially if you want something that won't give an inch unless you are actually a skilled player. Extremely happy with the used condition at Best Buy too. Disk was perfect and runs like new.

Dark souls is extremely difficult but when you beat that tough opponent you feel like you accomplished something

Takes a little getting use to for the combat but they added alot of very cool features into there combat system. You should expect to die in the game but that almost is a game play feature itself.

If you played demon souls and liked it then there is no reason to not get this sequel.

Searching for games like skyrim led me to dark souls. It is not incredibly similar to skyrim; it is on its own level. Its difficulty is unlike any other. I quit playing it for a while, then went back to it and couldn't stop. So much effort was put into this game. Amazing graphics that are beautifully medieval. Great voice actors. Very difficult bosses. I played the second one and it kinda sucked compared to it. The director really needed to have been there to have made it better. But he's coming back for the third one, which will be a fantastic game I'm going to pre order!

This game was one of the first RPG games I have ever played and it really challenged me at first. In other games I am normally the most powerful character, but in this game it is quite the opposite and that requires a new mindset--lots of patience and good timing. Being thrown into a vast world with nothing but a broken sword and wooden shield leaves you vulnerable and you just don't know where to go. Trying to stay alive becomes a joke as there are many ways you could easily die, but once you learn where to go and when to attack and succeed, that feels very rewarding. Aquiring souls, which allows you to level up and buy new weapons and armor, along with staying human is key if you want to make fighting bosses as easy as possible you will be able to summon an NPC or an actual person to fight by your side and just having an extra person to distract the boss could make an incredible difference.
