So I bought this TV for 2.1 future proofing and the PS5. I sparingly connect it to the internet..only for firmware updates and that's it. (The most recently FW update for me was 11/27/2020). I have other dedicated streaming devices I can use. UHD films look phenomenal on this display! Gemini Man was the 1st movie I played after I hooked the tv up(4K/60 and HDR) So ports 3 and 4 are the 2.1 ports. Much to many owner's surprise, the ports did not work with the PS5, meaning they did not output in 4K 120. I mean that's why a lot of people bought this TV for right? So there is a workaround to get it to work. You need to switch the transfer rate on the PS5 to -1. Set the resolution to 2160. Trying doing these steps in a different TV port like 1 or 2, Then plug the PS5 into ports 3-4. You may also need to disable HDMI device link in the PS5. Then reboot the TV in the menu section that says system and admin. This should get it to work. This should enable you to play some of the few PS5 games currently that run at 120hz/fps. I have only tried this with Borderlands 3. At performance mode 120hz works, but it's at 1080p HDR at 120hz on Port 4 of this TV. However VRR has not been fixed properly for this tv AND VRR is not even available for the PS5 at the moment. I will try out Rainbow 6 Siege this week as well because it's getting a 120hz patch early December. All in all the TV is a good value, Very very bright colors. That's why I passed on the OLED because the picture quality and brightness on this model was good enough for me! If you have other dedicated streaming devices, it might be prudent to keep it offline for now until Vizio completly irons out the bugs and fixes things like VRR.

This TV has potential, but a recent firmware has crippled that. I bought for hdmi 2.1 and VRR for new consoles. VRR is messed up at the moment and has to be disabled or you can’t play on Xbox. Blooming can be pretty noticeable in some instances. The blooming started after the recent firmware update I’ve read. Picture can be very crisp and bright, that’s a plus. Blacks look pretty dark and contrast is pretty good. I expect (and Hope) the issues will be fixed soon and if so I’ll update review. I thought this picture looked better than the X900H overall but almost wish I would have reconsidered, Sony’s QC seems to be significantly better. Wouldn’t recommend this tv at the moment, unless you’re on a budget like I was.

Appreciating that there are TVs with better specs than this Visio P-Series, I think you’d hard pressed to find a better value. The picture is really good, and brightness cuts through the daylight in our fairly bright living room with ease. It’s really been nice to have HDR, and I’ve been happy with the low-latency gaming settings when I play my PS4 through it. The additional dimming zones of the Quatum X would have been nice, but I don’t really miss them in the viewing we’ve done so far.

I bought this TV specifically for the Xbox Series X release. Still waiting on the VRR update. Currently it does not work. There are a few known bugs associated with this and watching Vizio support site because this is supposed to be fixed at some point. It looks great on my wall. Mounted easily. Set up was intuitive and easy. The remote works great. Really like the integrated streaming services. The built in tv tuner is awesome as well. When picking up from Best Buy it would have been nice to know that the tv needed transported in an upright position before I arrived to the store. Had to call a friend to bring a truck.

Tv looks great with my xbox series x. Vizio watch free is pretty cool too. Allows you to watch a bunch of free shows and movies. The TV does have some weird quirks. The backlight can bloom on really dark screens but it's usually only during credits or black screens with white text. Gray screens can show some yellowing that's very slight but this is only noticeable on menus such as Xbox or hulu. During actually content viewing it looks amazing and you can't see these things. The sound is great but I have a sound bar plugged in. The remote is the most annoying part. The sensor has to be exactly inline so you have to aim it properly. The picture ok this took very little manipulation to make it look better than stock but it did look a lot better than the x900h.

Attention vizio team.. let me start buy saying im a vizio fan boy great work those far but...... I just bought the P65Q9 and have had massive issues with the tv not wanting to play my Xbox one x. When trying to start playing a game the screen glitches out and won't work. If I disable the VRR on my console it works fine. I've read that this was a problem due to the last firmware update. Can some please confirm you guys are working on a patch/fix?

I just want to start off by saying I took these pics from my phone and my phone does not take great photos and I am no expert when it comes to tv calibration or anything like that. So I bought this tv because my 65in tcl 4 series went black. I am really happy with this tv the picture is amazing. So far gaming on the tv is great I'm just playing with a regular ps4 and the input lag is great. I had a hisense h9g that I bought a week before because alot of youtube reviews said it was a great tv but I wasn't happy gaming on it cause of picture quality on gaming mode. But the vizio picture quality in gaming mode is far better than the h9g. I am really happy with this purchase and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a tv for when the next gen consoles come out.

I'm 2 years old now. With my 65 inch. Vizio tv and I can't complain. Very good 4k image, good sound, enough applications. I've seen many bad and good reviews about Vizio, which is not a good brand, the image is bad, the sound is bad, do they have connection problems etc. I can only say that if you want something really good it will cost you much more money. And for me the Vizio brand is good.

The hdmi 2.1 4k didn't work well with the ps5 but I used the other port and turn setting to hdmi 2.1 it worked great good starter TV for people that plan to buy ps5 or Xbox series x or for those that already own them

I like this tv. User interface is decent. I got it because I was looking for a tv that does 4K, 120hz, and has HDMI2.1 port. It does all three. It says it does variable refresh rate, but I’m not sure how well it does yet. Twice so far I turn it on and try to access my fire stick, and there was no sound. U had to turn it off and turn it back on to get sound. Not sure if it’s tue fire stick issue or the tv itself. Thankfully I got the long term protection plan. If it’s the tv I’ll have to send it back. Otherwise, I like it a lot.

This tv was good enough for me to buy for my son and his wife . For their home warming party. The clarity is great and the color is awsome. The sound is very clear. I like how you can pick the mode of settings. Standard, pc, gaming or movie theater. You can also adjust these settings to your liking.

If any questions on how to setup your tv for 120 hz message my gamer tag at JPglo.

The video quality and features are excellent, however the SW kept locking up between apps from the first day needing reboots. After all firmware was updated, the Xbox still qoul not play (pictured) on any mode. Another automated update fixed this issue almost two weeks later. Moving from a LG reminds me why I need a sound bar as I have other Visios because the volume sometimes needs to be at 65 to hear. Casts all model phones where other tvs would not. Overall, great video and many features.

First of all, I had 2 Vizio TVs One was the plasma 50 tv that was fantastic than it broke like 9 years later so not bad. Than 37 lcd for a bedroom that’s still working. I wanted to enjoy this tv so bad due to past experience of had with Vizio TVs. Also there here in the United States in my backyard in Irvine CA. First the pros, money wow great value, great viewing when it comes to viewing 4K & 1080p streaming services this is the strength of this tv. Cons, the deal breaker poor upscaling from standard viewing from non 1080p like Direct tv. It like watching a tv 30 years ago, that bad! 2nd just horrible to watch from angle like from the kitchen, it start to white wash the color & sharpness. You have to watch the tv dead center or you will be disappointed like real fast. Lastly it intermittently go’s to blank viewing while watch in the middle of the show, had to several times reboot this tv so not so great quality assurance coming out of the factory. The take away, if you only watch from 1080p to 4K source so thats a 4K blue ray player or streaming and you can watch this tv dead center, there’s no tv that can touch this. But that’s not how life works out for most of us, oh well, exchanging this to LG OLED65CXPUA.

The picture is really nice, but it’s not as user friendly as out last Visio, and could not add an app that I had paid for like I could on my previous version. All the apps are pre loaded. Other than that it’s a great tv.

I first calibrated the unit. Always start with calibrated mode. I then used my test disk for motion, brightness, local dimming, ect. This TV out performed my expectations. No blooming what so ever. No screen tearing. Literally every test I through at it, it did absolutely perfect. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Highly recommend the p65q9-h1
I purchased this tv on black friday to pair with my xbox series X after researching the specs and seeing it will support all the features of a next gen console. Thus far it has been very underwhelming. Nothing seems to work as intended. The VRR is completely broken. If you try to turn it on your xbox you won't be able to see anything. The sound will just randomly stop working or will start sounding robotic. Sometimes it will shut itself off immediately after I turn it on. It seems like every time I turn my console on to start gaming I need to fiddle with tv for 10-15 minutes to get things working. I hope vizio has updates coming soon to fix some of these issues. Quite disappointed.

Most of the one star reviews will already tell you do not buy this. Please for the love of all things LISTEN TO THEM! I was so excited to get this. Within my first 30 days I noticed some quirks but figured software update will fix them as the seem to be issues that could be caused by software......I was wrong. Vizio provides little to no support. They are going to schedule a tech to come out to my house to work on my tv but from forums and other reviews I've seen the issues continue. If I could go back I would not have bought this tv. Major regret.

Delivery was prompt and TV was on sale. Picture is clear and size is perfect. My TV is mounted on the wall. Very pleased with my purchase. Photo taken with a cell phone, so color is off.
