Easy to set up. Works with Google. Does not monitor wattage usage but that's not a deal breaker. Need neutral wire. Overall I'm very happy with the product.

I started out using smart plugs ... but one plug covered both outlets. I migrated to mini smart plugs, but they were still pretty big and stuck out of the wall quite a ways. The smart outlet is the logical next step. It looks like a standard outlet. It picks up the wifi signal quite clearly. And it can be controlled via the Google Assistant or Kasa app. I would highly recommend this to anyone that is intending to create a smart home on their own. I have also standardized on the TP-Link light switches, so either my Google Assistant or the Kasa app can control them all.

Was quite easy to install. Gives you two wi-fi controlled outlets. We use ours with Amazon echo devices. I've had to replace a couple of other devices with TP-link devices because the others would drop the connection and have to be reset to get working again, a bit of an annoyance. Never had that problem with TP-Link devices. I'm pretty confident that if a TP-link device doesn't work in a particular location, no others will either.

So easy to set up, Kasa is a simple app and these outlets are easy to install and use

These are no longer carried, but they work well. I do like you can set different routines up for top and bottom plugs. They rarely disconnect, and usually a simple reset gets them back working correctly. I have about half dozen of these for home automation.

Installation is not that simple, and may not be safe. Great brand, but make sure an electrician installs this.

This is a great smart outlet if you prefer not to have smart plugs that are visible and plugged into your electrical socket. Installation may require more advance knowledge on electrical works to avoid any injuries.

Unfortunately I had to return these bcuz I didn’t have the neutral wire. But I bought the mini outlet you plug in and they worked just fine

This was a well thought out product. It came with wire nuts and a 1/2in foam extender if needed if you out box was not deep enough. I never had a specialty socket work out so well

Needed an easy way to turn patio lights on and off as they we’re not on a switch. The TP-Link Kasa was easy to install and worked perfectly from my phone app. Highly recommended.

No more timers when I go out of town. No more walking to my boys room to turn off lights. It’s all now done from my phone. Definitely a great addition to my house. Love it..

Have used this style outlet in the past and they have worked out very well. I like that they are very easy to set up and continue to work well after a couple of years.

I connected my Link to a lamp and set it on a schedule. When I get home my lights are on and my dog is no longer in the dark.

These plugs were really easy to install and setup and they work great. I really like these a lot better than a a regular smart plug

Installed these in a weatherproof outlet box outside to control Christmas lights and they work as I expected them too.

This is my first smart plug/outlet purchase. I wanted to get smart lights in my house but didn't want to shell out high amounts for light bulbs. So I thought about switching out the wall outlets and use my existing lamps and light bulbs. This worked perfectly. I was able to follow the clear directions from the Kasa app to remove my existing outlet and install the new Kasa Smart Wi-Fi Outlet. This outlet also works with Samsung's bixby voice assistant if your in that ecosystem.

I have many TP Link mini plugs throughout my home and have always been satisfied with their function and reliability. A few months ago I installed a TP Link light switch which has operated flawlessly so, when I saw this outlet on sale, buying it was an easy decision. It installed in less than 5 minutes, connected to my WiFi with zero problems and has never lost connection. Now that I see how well it works I will gradually replace more outlets and more fully automate my home.

This is a very good solution, the only issue is if you use a hub then the device would duplicated on the app frame.

This marries well with the smart switches, dimmers, and other plugs that I have. App is very easy to use.
