I upgraded from a Moto G4 Play to this Moto E (2020), because I needed an unlocked phone in order to make calls on Mint Mobile. The Moto G4 Play is physically capable of accessing the necessary radio bands, but those features were locked by Verizon, through whom I had purchased the G4 play as a prepaid phone. The Moto E is a much more powerful device in comparison. I've had no issues with the Mint Mobile network. And it's nice to know that should I change providers again, no radio bands will be blocked. I was a little skeptical for spending more than $100 on a phone. Especially since the G4 Play met all my needs for just $80. But I was curious if the Moto E would overcome a few small shortfalls - mainly an unreliable gps, and slow with some apps. It does. Don't waste money on expensive phones if a budget phone is all you need. And motorola makes GOOD phones It's definitely worth the price for the unlocked version. My savings from switching providers will fully pay for this phone in 6 months.

Updated from a MOTO e6 that worked great till I dropped it too many times and cracked the glass. So I upgraded to this MOTO E, with twice the memory (32Gb) and a faster processor. The screen is large enough yet still fits my pocket. Everything I need, great camera, Wi-Fi, LTE either ATT, Verizon and others. I really like the fingerprint reader on the back of the phone. Like my original PIXEL phone a few years ago. Charges quickly. Lasts all day long. Bluetooth is latest version too. I quickly bought a matching hard case so I don't ruin my new 'baby'. The color is a cool aqua-blue. Works in my Chevy and Kia with android Auto for GPS and other apps. Only missing the Near Field technology for Google PAY. At this price, my Garmin watch fills in just fine.

I love it for its simplicity and great battery life I can talk for hours and it does not get hot like other devices the menu is basic but very effective

For the price, this phone is a great value! Camera isn't anything fancy, but does the job. Impressed with the speed and storage. Used this with Q-Link (on the t-mobile network). Purchased a case at another retailer because they had the color I wanted.

The software is no working at all I could use the phone

This unlocked phone features a fast processor, excellent cameras, Android 10 OS, fingerprint sensor, great battery life, large screen...and so on. In other words, lots of features for the price. It's difficult to find anything to complain about(and I'm very good at complaining).

Very sturdy and reliable phone. It's affordable and serves the purpose. I have had it for over a year and it's still in very good condition. I will recommend it if you need an affordable functional phone.

Good price, excellent product, I have little using it but I really like it, the design is innovative, the processor is good, and I loved the camera, the only thing I didn't like very much was the 32gb memory, I think that in these times the internal memory is little, it should be a minimum of 64gb, everything else I loved it! I recommend it

This Moto E cellphone is worth buying instead of an expensive one. As a beginner phone for my preteen, it has all the services that my teen needs. Since she uses the Canvas app for turning in work, photo quality in taking pictures of her assignments is great. It has been a yr with the phone and so far no complaints.

This is my first unlocked phone purchase. My number one reason for choosing it was because it supports so many cell services. I visited the Motorola website to check its specs. I have two Moto phones already that I like, the venerable old e5 and a Moto e6. The quality of those models influenced my decision. I wanted a smaller screen, more like the e5 at 5.7" but not many choices in that range. I finally caved and bought the Moto E. The size is not as awkward as I expected. I really like the phone. It feels smooth and it's attractive with the blue back. I activated it yesterday on Red Pocket Mobile GSMT with a T-Mobile underlying network. It seems to be working fine. Of course the test of any cell phone is time and I can't say how durable it will be in that regard. I bought a flexible clear case to protect it that allows the buttons to be easily accessed while still allowing the blue of the back to show through. The phone arrived SUPER fast after ordering. It was intact but I would say they should have packed it better. The small Motorola box was sliding around inside the larger carton without any bubble or paper packing. Overall though I have to say great service getting it shipped so fast. I looked at the Moto G line of phones and I believe this E is more flexible across the bands. It can be activated on more services. Be sure to check the service compatibility before choosing a phone. Not all unlocked phones work on all types of service. Some only work on GSM (AT&T, T-Mobile type service). This one is versatile.

I am very satisfied with this motorola product because of its design and simplicity which makes it easy to operate and very easy to identify buttons, icons and programs. The quality of the pictures produced with camera are high quality for cell phones in the medium range purchase price such as it is. Hats off to Motorola for manufacturing a quality item at an affordable price.

Can't get much cheaper than this. The phone functions like any other smart phone but is a bit slower and clunkier. Every now and then apps will randomly crash. But overall I'm happy with what I got for a $100 throw-away phone. The storage space was the only real issue. I had the phone for less than a week and it was already telling me that my storage was basically full.

Surprisingly, I didn't have to keep the price of the phone in mind when I am writing this review, that one can treat this review comparing to phones greater than $500. The phone looks great, works fantastic, very smooth operation, very responsive, and Android 10 brings sufficient features for this phone. I had a very low expectation when I bought this phone as a stop-gap phone, but I keep raising the bar every day, that it might even become a long-term phone for me. The features are amazing, the fingerprint sensor works amazingly well, the apps are very responsive, audio quality is very good. The places where it may not be comparable to a high-end phones are: (a) Camera (not that it is bad on this phone, but there is a difference that I see), (b) Water-resistance etc., (c) Breakability (this camera has a lot of plastics, if you care to notice), and few other high-end features. I didn't need them, so this phone has surpassed all expectations. So, I should have given 5 stars right, but there are some things that should be fixed to get 5 stars, even for this price. (1) When listening to music/audiobook, if a mail or some other notification comes, the music/audiobook stops, I have to restart it, very annoying (especially when I am doing workouts), (2) one out of 5 days, the phone will drop the connection on WiFi calling and go to regular phone mode. Signals at my home are very weak, and WiFi calling is a must for me. I have to restart the phone when I see that. (unquestionably irritating) [I turn-off cell phone every night and start fresh every day morning, so I am restarting the phone every day. (3) Bluetooth connections occasionally drops, although not that frequent, but.. Those are all software fixes that can be easily made. Therefore, a resounding "Yes" Recommendation for this phone!

Not a 5G phone but for the price I paid, this phone is great. Fast processor and long battery life. I also like the feature where you can carry out other tasks while watching YouTube videos minimized. The only complaint I may have would be the camera resolution.
