I will admit that I don't do anything "fancy" with my scanner, mostly papers and photos, although I use it frequently. This scanner is easy to use, is fairly fast, and the quality of the scanned images is good. The price was very reasonable. This is definitely not a top-of-the-line scanner, so if you need features and/or quality that only the fancy scanners can do, pass this one up. However, if you need a scanner for everyday, simple tasks, and want one that will do a great job and has a great price, please consider purchasing this one. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

This HP scanner -- HP Scanjet G3110 -- is a steal. I am very happy with the scanner and its operation and features.

Bought this scanner for a bucket full of photos from 20 years ago. Software is clear and easy to use. I am impressed that I can enhance, crop, restore photos very fast. Much faster than my 'all in one' HP officejet. This far exceeded my expectations.

Loved the scanner but I did have 2 issues. First off, I have a mac. IT DOES NOT SUPPORT MAVERICKs. I have parells on my mac so Im was able to use Windows 8.1. Also, I Bought this only to convert film to digital. But any resolution over 1200 will literally take FOREVER. Anything under it'll work just fine.

I use this scanner to copy work documents on PDF file and transfer them to my mobile device. This scanner records very well. The software is also nice as I can crop and darken an old document if needed. The price is great for what this scanner does. I would highly recommend it.

First off scanner works well. Just be selective when installing the HP software - the default setting will install all kinds of extra and unneeded applications on your computer (typical HP protocol). Install using the advance option and install only the required pieces and you'll be fine.

I've had same brand, similar model before and was greatly satisfied with it which is why I bought this model to replace it. Product works as well as prior scanner, but the software has been changed which I do not like at all.

Has some good features for scanning multiple items at eh same time, as well as the ability to scan slides, transparencies and negatives.

The product description states that this scanner is networkable but it is not.

After opening the box today, I have spent more time trying to get this brand new scanner to work than I have actually spent scanning. Though it worked well for the first 3 picture scans it has become an absolute nightmare. I have done each of the troubleshooting steps multiple times in addition to uninstalling and reinstalling the software 3 times and I have been speaking the the unhelpful HP tech support for 1 1/2 hours. The scanner keeps stopping mid-scan and doesn't finish but rather causes error message to pop up and my computer to freeze. I will return this product immediately and do not recommend it to anyone.
