I already use square I just finally purchased the stand to make it easier for clients/ customers to pay. Simple to setup and I love that I can take it with me anywhere.

It's great! Super steamlined and it's nice to not have so many cords and hardware, no additional chip reader necessary and setup was a piece of cake!

I love the new square stand. My only issue is this one must be plugged in. I used it this weekend with no problems.

Before you purchase this square stand, know that it only has a 1 year warranty on it. I've had it for a little over 1.5 years and I only use it twice a year for craft fairs. Knowing how expensive the equipment is, I leave it in it's original box. I recently took it out to use at an event and come to find out, it somehow stopped accepting card payments. After chatting with a support agent from Square, being that my stand was no longer under warranty, there was nothing that could be done about it. I'll have to purchase a new stand.

Our Small business utilizes Square for our point of sale system. It has been a very solid system for us to use but we still have felt lacking in that professionalism of our presentation to the customer. The Square P.O.S. Stand for iPad has given us that professional factor and we have loved it so far! PROS: - Unboxing and setup was super easy! Once you unbox it and plug it into a power supply (which to note, this square stand needs a constant power supply, it is not battery operated), your Square app will identify the Square stand and do the rest of the work for you! - Touching on my point above, the iPad mounts into this stand and it gets supplied with constant power so you never have to worry about charging your iPad which is really nice. It fits in very securely and snug and I really love the look. - The Stand itself is really nice! It has some good weigh to it, nice modern look, and does not give a cheap appearance to it. It has a weighted bottom to it with a gripped base that will help stick to whatever service it is on. The Stand does come with an optional mounting plate as well to permanently mount it to a table/desk. - The Stand then rotates 180 degrees so it can face you and then the customer, which is great! When you go to check out, the tap reader and chip reader glow for the customer to see. Super easy, super straight forward and it looks great! - I love how this stand takes so many payments. All major credit cards via chip reader or card tap, Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Google Pay, and Cash App. Of course if someone has a swipe only card, there is a small headphone jack on the bottom right corner of the device so you can plug in a card swipe attachment. CONS: - I have nothing bad to say about the hardware itself. My only complaints would be I wish the checkout screen had a bit more UX options and flare to it. However, that is a software side change and is luckily something Square could change down the road. BOTTOM LINE: - If you are a small business owner who uses Square Up for your point of sale, this stand is a no brainer! It gives off a really professional feel, it works lightening fast, and gives the customers the options to select their receipt options, see what their price breakdown is, and add tips. Customer Service is a huge part of a small business and this Stand helps provide an exceptional experience!

This is ideal for when the transaction requires your customers to sign on the iPad. My small business is to teach dance lessons or be the host of dance events around my city. I’ve been using Square card reader and card swiper for years. However, even now, I occasionally get a customer who is taken aback at the fact that my Square reader is connected to my phone. After changing to this Square P.O.S., it gives my business a more legit look. Many of my returning customers made comments as they were being charged to the likes of, “Whoa! Business is getting serious!” At a recent dance social that I hosted, I didn’t have an issue with people changing their payment method to cash because they saw a terminal of where to swipe their credit card to. During the use of the Square P.O.S., customers easily understood their payment options: Card Chips reader or tapping. A few customers loved that they could just tap their phone instead of taking out a credit card. Some customers that were in line to pay saw those ahead using the phone-tap to pay and asked about how they could do that too. I helped them after our dance lessons and were excited to try at the next class. Because the nature of my business requires me to travel to various dance studios or restaurant venues for dance socials, I take the P.O.S. with me. Traveling with it is not a major inconvenience as I keep it in the box that it came in. I appreciated the stickers that came in the box for an even more official look for the type of payment that my dance company accepts. Overall, I haven’t had a single issue since transitioning from my former card reader to my new Square P.O.S.. --- APPROVAL --- If you have a small business, this Square P.O.S. is a perfect way to make your business feel more legit and official. Customers are used to using it and the Square App, from a business owner’s point-of-view, is easy to use and manage.

This square system is very well-built I think it weighs between five and 8 pounds so it’s very durable and heavy won’t go falling or move around unless you want it too. Make sure you have the correct iPad for the system or it won’t work. It comes with a hub power adapter cable drill mount and adhesive mount. Get everything you need going so that you can sell immediately minus the iPad. Once you connect the stand to the hub you connect it to the power adapter plug into an outlet and insert your iPad into the stand you can start taking payments immediately if you have the square app. Ring up at sale swivel stand to face customer except payment. You can tap their contactless card or mobile device near the flashing contactless icon. Or you can insert their chip card into the cart slot. It does not print receipts however the hub will allow for a receipt printer. Most of these units use emails to send receipts so that is not a dealbreaker. You can add an optional customer facing display with square terminal

Works great for my concession stand. Swivels easily and takes all types of credit cards. You may need the square reader attachment for swiping credit cards if the customers chip doesn’t work.

We love this stand for our small business! Nice to have the chip reader and tap all on one stand. Minimizes the amount of cords! Makes for a minimalist looking stand! And a great price

Great stand for small businesses that want to use a larger screen like an iPad for square. Be aware that this Rand uses the older iPad connector and not usb-c. It also comes with a the usb hub in the power supply to charge other devices.

I enjoy using the square stand, its easy for my customers to use and I don't have to handle their cards. I like that it swivels to the customer can see the items and the total before payment.

Amazing easy setup very important is work with the iPad 10.2 screen size you got tap dip and all connections for cashier’s printers

I’ve used this stand going on 2 years for my business and it has been great, no issues at all and would definitely recommend to anyone starting a store front! We already owned an iPad so it’s definitely a great cheaper option rather than buying an entire checkout system

I love the ease of use for this for my small business. It goes to vendor shows with me and it looks super professional. I use an older 2022 ipad, and it works great! I can use contactless, tap, and with the mag reader square sent me, i can swipe. Square literally tracks all my payment, including my cash transactions. I priced buying the swipe, tap, chip and it was near this price, so if you have an ipad, it more cost effective to do this.

nice upgrade to the 1st gen stand, if you need to take payments this is the one. The compatible iPad is good enough and not that expensive.

This was great for my small business. Especially the connectivity with the newest ipad which is only about $280 these days.

Absolutely love this! it’s so clean, and easy to set up. Make sure you have the right iPad to fit into this stand. It’s a must have for any business.

Sleek design, and easy to set up and use! The only downside is there is not a card swipe for use with older cards that don't have a chip.
