On the plus side - it'll cool and humidify the air; control panel offers lots of options On the down side - ridiculous amount of time having to refill the water and ice containers; requires a lot of water to work; have to have a large enough open window for air to come in and be cooled; noisy!

These units work best in areas with a dry climate with humidity levels of below 50-60%. They also require ample cross ventilation along with dry heat for optimal cooling. It leaks from the back. Works okay, when it’s not too hot. 100 degrees up doesn’t feel cold gotta keep refilling ice to stay cold.

This unit is not an air conditioner as it does not use a compressor or refrigerant gas. It should not be expected to cool as efficiently as a refrigerated air conditioner.
