Super easy to use. Nice and clean design. Makes great tasting coffee and tea too!! One thing I wish it had was a removable water tank for easy cleaning. Best Buy delivery was super fast!!!

Thought I’d buy an expensive coffee pot that wouldn’t leak water on the counter like my past cheaper ones have. After only five brews this one has started doing the same thing! I guess mankind cant make one that doesn't. Second photo shows where it leaks while brewing. I really wanted this to be the best. Taking back for a refund :(

Pros: -love the customization -great smooth full bodied brew -looks great Cons: -kind of big -a lot of water is left in the reservoir... enough that this is a main reason I returned the coffee maker -the burner keeping it hot wasn’t consistent -too many pieces to keep track of I struggled with keeping or returning because I really liked the coffee, and I really liked the idea of using this to make pour over coffee. However, I was worried about the long term use and for the price it was fairly close to the Ninja.

Completely satisfied with this coffee machine. You can customize the strength and temperature of you coffee in the my brew program. The iced coffee program makes excellent coffee. Programming this machine is easy. If you have problems programming things, the directions to are easy to follow. We got the glass carafe and the warming plate keeps your coffee hot for 2 hour's. The filter basket might drip once or twice when you pull the carafe after it just brewed, but what coffee maker doesn't. I highly recommend thus coffee machine.

Yeah, so I can’t take all the credit. The preset Gold Cup mode (the default setting) is designed to make coffee that is consistently good, provided you follow the guidelines with regards to ratios of grounds to water, use freshly-roasted beans, filtered water, etc. You do need to do a few setup steps the first go around, but after that it’s straightforward, and pretty user friendly. The complication comes in messing with different settings to see if there’s some alternate method you like even better. I haven’t experimented with making iced or cold-brew, yet. Soon, though; soon. I like having the option to brew up to 20 oz (single cup limit) and place my travel mug directly into the unit; no need to worry about cleaning the carafe afterwards! Speaking of, it’s debatable, but I will say that I find the glass carafe preferable in terms of both taste, and the ease of maintenance (I ordered the glass version online, since they only carry the thermal ones in-store). Some say it’s better to have the stainless steel thermal one, but I pour the whole batch right away, so keeping it warm isn’t of concern to me. To each their own, though. Also, I do recommend investing in a good quality conical burr grinder. They’re more expensive than blade grinders, sure, but it’s worth it if you want better tasting results, I’d say.

Nice but expensive coffee maker. Makes good coffee and has a lot of options for different brews and temps but would be nice to have a longer keep warm time if needed.

Coffee maker works great, but intimidated my (silver haired) parents. We had to sit down w the machine and the manual and go through the options and interface carefully, repeatedly. Now that they know the drill, they love the machine and coffee.

Splurged on this higher priced drip coffee maker. Have had cuisinart and mr. coffee machines, but none seem to last more than a few years. This takes up a lot of real estate and barely fits under the cabinet, but we use it daily, so that’s ok. Has many brew features I may never use, but if it doesn’t break down after 3 years, I will say it’s a good value.

Good product and good quality. No problem after few months use. The only issue is when make only 4 cup coffee then it is not as hot as it should be but it is ok more than 4 cups.

Love this machine. Has all the features we could ever want. We were tired of other drip coffee machines as we didn't think they gave the same quality as hand pour over, this has replaced hand pour over in the mornings with the same quality! Added bonus - we use RO water and have never needed to descale the machine.

I've been using this coffee maker for almost a year and it continues to give me great coffee cup after cup. I like that it uses the amount of water that I put in so I can control the water to coffee ratio. I am able to get great tasting coffee even using pre-ground coffee. I adjusted the My Brew settings to get the perfect cup for me. I brew one cup at a time and it never disappoints!

Best coffee maker ever. I used to be a cuisinart fan. I had no clue what I was missing. Fast brewing easy cleaning and no weird angles to add water!

The Breville precision coffee maker is by far the best coffee maker I've owned to date. With the bloom time and flow rate and temperature adjustments, you can dial up the perfect cup of coffee. Build quality is very robust, just a all around great machine.

So tired of drinking lukewarm coffee. Searched and searched for a brewer with adjustable temperature. While it does fall short of percolator pot coffee it is hotter than any other makers we have had. Nice looking and feels like a better build than the others also.

[Employee of bestbuy] I bought it and it worked great at first but after 3 weeks it no longer had a working burner. I then replaced it because I am a Total member and the same one new did the same thing. I ended up getting a different brand. Do not buy if you do not like the burner failing after just getting the coffee maker.

Yes, you can make a wildly customized cup of coffee, but you really have to be a true coffee lover to understand it all. We put it on the gold standard and let it roll.

This makes the best tasting coffee every morning! There are many settings so anyone can find what they prefer for their brew. It is sleek looking and easy to clean.

I read the reviews and still thought the negatives were isolated incidents. The first time using it failed in two ways. First it accumulated air bubbles in the water tank that prevented the sensor from acknowledging it was full of water. I had to disconnect the machine take to the sink and turn it over to dump out the water. Then I filled up with water again and it still would not work. This time the “insert carafe” was showing. I had to put the carafe in and out 4 times before it acknowledged. I returned the next day and bought a cheaper Cuisinart that does not look as fancy but I feel will last for years trouble free.

After 11 months of daily use, the unit has failed. It trips the breaker halfway through the brew cycle. This is the second Breville Precision brewer I've purchased in four years. This lifespan is ridiculous for what is allegedly a high-end brewer. Now I get to experience the joy of sending it in for warranty repair (at my expense, of course) and waiting several weeks / months for it to come back. I've had cheap, entry-level coffeemakers outlast this. My next coffeemaker will not be a Breville.
