I love being able to toast long slices with ease. Looks chic in the kitchen too.

Solid toaster with consistent performance. It heats evenly, toasts bread well, and feels sturdy and well-made. The settings are easy to use, and it handles different bread types better than basic toasters. It’s a bit of a splurge compared to standard models, but the quality and reliability make it worth it overall.

The toaster was purchased as a Christmas gift to my wife. She told me the next morning after using it, "I love my new toaster, thank you, it is so easy to use and makes great toast."

LOVE this toaster! I use the bagel setting a lot! Toasts perfectly! I had my last toaster probably over 20 years. Replacing it with this one was a good move.

Great toaster! Once you figure out the setting you need for your perfect slice of toast, it toasts out amazing!

I originally had a Belle because I didn't want to spend a lot on a toaster. However, it didn't make the toast how I liked it. I ended up not using it as much and selling it. My husband convinced me to get toaster. I love the "a bit more" setting. I have made bagels and toast in the Breville. I love it. It also looks nice in my counter top. I am not a fan of the counter top accessories. However, I use this so often. It only makes sense to give it a permanent home on the counter. I've had this item a little over a month and use it almost daily. I highly recommend this product.

This toaster is great because you can put the long pieces of bread to toast. Like sub rolls. It doesn’t dry out the toast like my toaster oven does. It fits on the counter nicely either length wise or vertical to save room. It’s dial is located on the front and is adjustable.

Love this toaster! Adjust temp and time and it has huge long slots to fit any kind of bread!

After researching many different models out there, it became obvious that Breville was the way to go. This is a very consistent machine that never fails to turn out the correct cooking amount desired. We very rarely get a toaster that actually cooks the RIGHT amount without having to constantly check on it. You won't be disappointed if you buy this toaster!

3.5 Stars would be my choice because the heating coils do not cover the entire length of the slots; there is a solid divider between each side, making long pieces toasted on each end, not the center. Toasting similar to a four slice toaster, but with long slot instead of four slots. Not exactly what I had in mind, but it works... except for that one strip in the center that won't be toasted on long slices!

Easy to use and toast bread fast with the way you like.

There are 2 long slots, each holds 2 slices. Except only small slices fit. The white sliced bread we buy seems to be too large to fit. Common supermarket butter top bread. Overlapped areas don’t toast at all. See photo.

I, like many others, grew tired of the old cheepo toasters that keep on failing, and set out to buy the highest quality, and best, toaster I could find, and this $100 one was it. It's fancy, it's stainless, it's huge because we like to buy odd and different than standard shaped bread, and to be honest, it really works great. We use it once a day for breakfast, and that's it; this toaster has a very easy life in my house. BUT: a few days ago it was simply dead; no lights, nothing, just DEAD. I checked everything that you can, like the plug, but it was definitely the toaster that died. Since I bought it more than a year ago, and the warranty is only for a year, I decided to not simply throw it, but open it to see if I can see anything on the inside. Maybe a bread-crumb induced short or something. It was a mission to open the thing (there are secret screws UNDERNEATH the little rubber feet) but I eventually managed to open it, and you won't believe what I found: This state-of-the-art $100 toaster had a FUSE that was MOUNTED ONTO THE LITTLE CIRCUIT BOARD!! So, not one you can easily replace, like you'd expect from high dollar appliances... And it was a tiny 500mA fuse. I had to cut it off the board, soldered extension wires to the little wire legs, and install my own fuse holder on the OUTSIDE of the toaster, so that in the future, you can simply swap a fuse if it ever blows again, something I think was caused by a power spike. I am really surprised and very disappointed that the fuse was so hard to fix, and be honest, for the most part, most people won't even bother. I think throwing away a $100 toaster is not an option, so either get an extended warranty, or be prepared to do what I did. See the photos how I had to install the fuse holder. Other than that, it does what it's supposed to do: toast bread.

Number one: The crust gets burned the center of bread isn't toasted Number two: The A Bit More feature set off the smoke alarms and burned the toast so bad it almost caught fire. Other then that I looks nice...on its way back to Best Buyl

Disgusting. Received an extremely used toaster with crumbs in it still and cockroaches in it. No quality control apparently and their resolution is 10% off. What a slap in the face.

Went down and looked at it at Best Buy, I liked how well it is built for this time and age, I did compare on line the other Breville toasters and this one had most watt power, I wanted a toaster that left your toast hot from toaster to being buttered like back in the day and this toaster scored on that, I put 2 slices of bread in one on each side opposite ends it toasted great. It also. Has a little lift meaning if your bread slice is a bit short you lift the toast handle up and grab your toast you don't need to stick a stick in to get your toast and no burnt fingers a nice perk. Some one wrote that it didn't toast evenly when bread was put in the middle I didn't try that because it is a 4 slice toaster and the inside toasting wires are set up for 1 threw 4 slices and I personally wouldn't expect it to toast. Works just ask Breville states. I feel it may last long enough to hand down as an heirloom. I also like the idea that it is long instead of square it will fit in my cabinets better. Oh yes you know when it is on or ready for more after toasting because the red light aka sliding toast setting is lit up, when the lite is off it is still ready to go. Photo on left has me using the extra lift so you see more of the bread. (Love it)

I love the wide slots and ability to cook 4 slices of bagels or toast. The only reason I do not give this 5 stars, is that the toaster broke after 2 years, past the 1 year warranty, but did feel a bit too soon for a high end product. A toaster is not a complicated device, so it was a surprise. I did buy the same brand and the same toaster two years later, so I loved it enough to invest again. It looks fabulous in the kitchen and works very well - let's hope this one lasts longer. The "a little more" feature for a quick bit of additional browning without a full toast time is a fun feature.

Great price and well designed. Simplified controls and sleek look. I've heard rumors about a fuse issue but I personally haven't had problem. Another Breville classic!

I am so happy!! Even toasting on all 4 slices! Check toasting progress without having to start a new cycle! Stylish design. I can also fit the larger and sometimes thicker deli breads into the toaster slots. The 'Add A Bit More" button is great for adding a small amount more toasting time if needed. I really do like this toaster

Great toaster. What you set it on, you get! Need a little more, just hit the “little more” button and you get what you ask for. Would highly recommend it.
