I read the reviews on all the air fryers on the market. This was a well rounded product for the price. Best Buy was also having a 20% off sale on top of the price match, so win-win. We tried a few items for a test run (french fries, fish sticks, onion rings). French Fries: We cut the fries pretty thin and it came out crunchy (I like it this way). Almost similar to In-N-Out fries for you West Coast folks. Onion Rings: Batter didn't hold and came out like crispy shoestring onion rings. Still tasted okay Fish Stick: These were frozen when we put in the air fryer. Batter didn't hold. Most of the fish sticks broke apart and was messy. This specific model wasn't great on battered items because of the piece in the middle that stirs the food. Battered food disintegrates and there is an odor, almost chemical/factory smell. This model would be great for dishes that require constant mixing (i.e. pasta, potato dishes, casseroles, etc.). I think this will go away after a handful of uses, but we've only used 3 times and the smell is still on the food. If you want to air fry food with batter on it, I would recommend the other model T-Fal makes with the tray above the mixer. I didn't really check to see if they have an attachment I can just purchase? Pros: - Little oil required for healthier food - Top rated air fryer under $100 (next one was the Phillips model) - Price match and doubling on the 20% discount was very nice - Great for pasta and casserole dishes Cons: - A little loud (about the level of a hair dryer) - Chemical odor when you first use it. Not sure how long before it goes away. I've only used it 3 times and the smell is still there - Food with batter doesn't hold breading

This Fryer is very efficient and I have not had a problem with mine at all since I bought it and uses a lot less oil and is very easy to use

The fryer uses only one tablespoon of oil to make 2 lbs. of French Fries. The results were fantastic! We look forward to further experimenting with recipes in this item.

I really like the healthy meals that you can prepare from this appliance. We've cooked several batches of chicken wings. You would be amazed at how much oil comes out of raw chicken wings. Recommend this appliance to anyone trying to be a little more healthy.

Super easy to use. Put stuff in, tiny amount of oil and let it do it's thing. "Fries" things up great, golden brown. I miss the greasy, fattiness of regular fried food some, but that's what makes it less healthy. Great product.
