It's ok compared to other high end appliance brands. The suction power is not that great due to motor power. It gets the job done but also noisy.

We’ve had some trouble with the downdraft as it sticks going up and stops halfway up. If we give it a little tug while it’s moving, it will go all the way up. Also, the fan wasn’t working for a little while but seems to be now. Could be a connection issue. Our installer is coming back out to see it it can be tweaked before we contact GE. Cannot say if would recommend yet as we don’t know what the problem is.

Great replacement exhaust blower for my range. Controls are set up under the cabinet. The original has control on top of the hood.

This is the third exhaust system. The first 2 had the same dimensions and specifications. Installing was a breeze, This new version, the dimensions were changed. Best buy installed the equipment but I had to call in another installer to connect the vent. Nonetheless, it is a great kitchen exhaust system.

THIS UNIT WAS PURCHASED FOR AN ISLAND APPLICATION, AND IS YOUR ONLY OPTION FOR AN EXHAUST IF YOU DO NOT WANT A HOOD FAN HANGING DOWN FROM THE CEILING. THE ONLY DRAW BACK IS TO THIS UNIT IS THAT IT FREQUENTLY COSTS MORE THAN THE COOKTOP UNIT,

A little dangerous to clean,,,, you can get a serious cut.

Fit into slot for a Thermador vent that burned out. The installer was able to install the control panel without the manufacturer recommended cutting of the granite counter. Very strong draft.

It is not glass face. The quality is not matched with old product. The design is changed and it causes the duck vent need to be adjusted.

No noticeable issues observed so far. Good ventilation system and simple to handle.

The downdraft works great. Love the look and the efficiency of it.

I ordered this to complement my 30" stainless steel cooktop. It works great and looks even better!

This was purchased as part of our kitchen remodel -- completely satisfied!

After searching the web for a month, called Best Buys to see if their product would work with a slide in range. In was guaranteed the product would work. Well it was ordered, delivered and totally the wrong product. Contractor called Best Buys and again told fan would work; then called manufactory to be told that could not be installed with slide in stove. Sales representatives should be able to validate product uses. I was very specific on my need and asked numerous times in numerous way that the fan was usable with slide in stove. Cost us time and additional money since contractor time was wasted, held up counter installation and had to be returned.
