Hard to talk up a battery, wish they were not so expensive, but you get what you pay for. Aftermarket, none batteries do no belong in your $1000 camera...and they dont work nearly as well. I can pop 400 daytime action shot EASY with the LCD on, and maybe bet 75 on the cheap, that doesn't work at all anymore.
Always been a fan of the LP-E6N Canon branded batteries. Long battery life. Solid product.

The extra time I can get by having two batteries is very valuable to me and I couldn't be happier with this name brand battery.

They seem to last a long time and they also charger fairly quickly.

These batteries perform well, consistently and maintain charge. I purchased this same model, two batteries to replace the original two I bought in March 2012. ( I could have held out longer!) I shot over 90,000 images with the originals while sometimes having to wait long periods between shots. I trust the dependability of these Canon batteries.

Why an extra battery? First, you may want to shoot all day and into the night. When you are shooting 7-hours at a wedding, you want that piece of mind. Second, if you upgrade to a battery grip, you will need the second battery. I have found that the name brand battery last a little longer over the life of the battery.

I bought this as a replacement for my 4 year old LP-E6 for my 60D. The first two charges lasted for almost 500 pictures each - pretty much the same as the previous model. Be careful to check the price though. I had to use BB's Price Match Guarantee, because the in-store price was almost twice as much as the price on Amazon.

This model substitutes LP-E6 very well. Actually I didn't find the difference between them. It works as fine as previous model.

I've never had a problem with Canon brand batteries. Always satisfied with the manufacturers brand batteries. Don't mess with 3rd party batteries. They can damage your expensive DSLR camera investment by cutting corners on cost for batteries. Shop around, get price matching. Buy Canon.

You can't really trust third-party batteries, especially when you're shooting important events like engagements and weddings. Best to go with the Canon batteries, even if they are unreasonably expensive... luckily Best Buy sells it for cheaper than the $100 that Canon charges.

Needed a second Canon battery to go into a Canon battery grip for my 80D. I don't know if third party batteries have the smarts to show how many shots have been taken on each battery since the last recharge, but the Canons do.

I'm so glad I stumbled upon Canon's batteries when Best Buy had them on sale. I almost bought off brand, but with the sale it was right around the same price. I have peace of mind knowing that they came from a trust worthy company.

I think this camera addition is worth your photography time. It’s an amazing battery ion-lithium addition that gives the extra power you’ll need to capture those last photographs of those projects and whatever!

What can I say about this battery. It lasts a long time. And, if you are using it as a back up battery, you now have twice as much battery life! That's two times the battery life for the price of one additional battery! Wow!!!!

The battery works great. I held a charge for five days while on vacation shooting pictures all day long.

Same form factor, and reverse compatible with electronics that use LP-E6 to gain more time before needing to swap out, for the same price as the original LP-E6? No brainer for me. I bought 2. Work as expected, and better.

If your going to invest in a nice DSLR don't buy a cheep battery. The quality is great & I feel safe when using it rather then an off brand. The shutter count it gives is low. I'm getting over 1000 shots per battery.

I bought this for my camera ( obviously) and am very happy with the authentic parts. To many problems with the aftermarket ones. Can’t go wrong. Yes you’ll pay more but you’ll have less problems
