Found this for $199 in the middle of the night. Don’t know if it was a typo because this price is unheard of! This is a $500ish unit. Plus it has a heater in mild temperatures. Used it all summer turned my room into an ice box... perfect. Would buy again.

Well this is the first portable AC I have purchased for my apartment. It works well enough to cool down a 300 sq. ft bedroom in about 30 minutes.

nice portable unit, not too loud at all. rotating fan is a big plus and top vent is a genius touch.

I have a portable 8000 BTU air conditioner that performs better than this 14000 BTU. It's also very loud.

This blows ice cold and cools a room down pretty quick. It is pretty quiet. We bought it to use primarily in our pop up trailer. We camped in 96 degree weather with high humidity and the inside of our pop up stayed around 68 degrees. We love this air conditioner. We have not tried the heating or drying functions on this unit yet.

We were expecting a heat wave and I was looking for a portable unit. This happened to be on sale and it was a new product. I researched on the manufacturers website and decided to get it. My son installed it for me and had it up and running in no time.

So, this item has worked perfectly as a cooling device. It kept my room cool during the summer and generally operated fairly quickly. The problem though is with the heating element. The first time I had the portable AC unit and used the heating function, the unit died and would not function again. No problem, it was still under warranty and I was able to take it to a Best Buy store and get it replaced. A year passes and once again, using the second unit as a heater, the unit dies and won't power on anymore. Likewise, it has melted the outlet which it was plugged into. All in all, as an AC unit, it performs great. As a Heater, I find it a ticking time bomb to failure and a potential fire hazard.
