Got this on sale for $65, couldn't pass it up. Un-boxing and putting in the toner was very easy. It works for Windows 10. Like most all USB printers, this DOES NOT come with a USB device cable, so keep that in mind if you decide to purchase. I got this for my wife a few weeks ago and no complaints thus far.

I love this printer. Easy to operate, fast printing and long lasting toner. The printer has a ling printer cord. This printer is a little workhorse.

It’s a great printer. Only complaint is that it doesn’t come with the usb cord needed to connect the printer and your computer. Had to buy that separately. It would make it a bit easier if it was included with the printer but oh well. Other than that, solid printer.

I bought this printer but it doesn’t have Wi-Fi option so can I change it by visiting any show room please any ideas.

This printer is fast and reliable. It prints an average of 30 ppm. It takes roughly five seconds from the time I click print to the time the page is in my hand. I have printed roughly 200 documents and have not had one dropped yet. The toner is reasonably cheap too. I can find a four pack on eBay for a little over $30. It has a print average around 2,500 pages. It also has a toner-saving setting, which I have not used. It only printed black and white. The only drawback to the printer: it does not have a LAN port. It can only be connected by USB. It can still be shared over a network but it constantly occupies a USB, which matters if desk space or the number of available USB ports is an issue. Bottom line: I would buy this printer again for nearly any purpose. Also, this printer was $59 on Black Friday which made the deal even sweeter.

Nice quality printouts, nice to have a laser printer for so low a price. I only needed monochrome so this works out nice - no color options here. Seems the toner won't be too expensive either but will have to see how that works out with more use. easy to set up and connect via printer port. a little noisy but not enough to bother me really.

My HP Photosmart printer was older and no longer worked consistently. I needed a basic black-and white printer. I wasn't printing photos and no longer needed color and didn't need a scanner. At work I had a Brother laser printer that was a workhorse. I decided on a Brother. After reading all the reviews on this printer and finding only a few complaints about the noisiness of the printer, I made the decision to purchase it. I love this printer! Clean, crisp print. Acceptable speed. Small enough in size to fit conveniently on the desk. It met my needs exactly. I have already recommended it (and Brother printers in general) to friends. And the noise? What printer doesn't make noise? I don't find it any different than other laser printers. If you're looking for a basic black-and-white printer that delivers a quality print job, look no further.

Purchased this as I was spending too much money during the year on the color ink cartridges for my Canon Pixma inkjet. Most of the things I print do not have to be in color, so I checked the pricing of this unit and ran some test pages on Best Buy's display mode. Print quality was really good and the price was nothing to balk about. My only regret is I didn't spring for a wireless model. I used it for about two months now and I'm quite happy with the printer.

Good budget laser printer without scanning or copying capabilities. Also not wireless, but print quality is good. Makes quite a bit of noise when it prints. Accepts generic toner refills for low cost printing. You will need another scanner/flatbed copier/fax for those functions, but you can get an inexpensive wireless ink jet for that and just use the laser printer for printing. I have found Brother printers to be more reliable than similarly priced HP, Epson or Samsung printers.

It was easy to set up and it gives great copies. The size fits perfectly in my home office. I hope to realize great savings on ink toner with the black and white copy.

Excellent product! Easy to set up and operate. Great price. After all my research and reading reviews, this looked like the best choice. If you don't need a color printer, this black and white model can't be beat!

I love this printer. It prints double sided with very little effort and the print quality is great. It would have been nice to have a wireless printer but I did not want to spend the money to get one and this one does all that I need and the price was good.

My previous Brother laser printer (HL-1440) finally started having problems after 14 years. With that kind of track record though I knew I wanted another Brother laser printer, and this printer seemed to meet all my needs. It does everything my older and more basic laser printer did plus more. Automatic duplexing is a fantastic feature. There are many other features so it pays to look through the online manual. It is super fast, too. Some of the other reviews comment that it is noisy, but it is no nosier than my other laser printer, and the noise is not annoying.

Bought it today, really Easy set up, pretty much plug and play using win10. Haven't researched how to set up toner saver, but will. Watched a quick video on youtube about putting in the the toner, easiest process ever (had never done it before). Just google the model number and toner and its the first video, really simple after watching the two minute clip. It's loud for sure thus 4 stars instead, but for the price, and only needing to print black and white hope it lasts at least 6 months, if so it will have paid for itself twice over. Old usb cord from previous inkjet printer fit perfectly, no need for a new one.

This Brother printer was an extremely inexpensive replacement for my broken, less-than-a-year old high-speed printer. It would have cost more to fix it than it was worth. I needed something inexpensive but high-speed, as it was right before the holidays. This Brother printer is fast, efficient, and although a bit noisy, a GREAT bargain buy for the price and quality!
