Mass effect legendary edition is of course a collection of the first 3 games in the series and this is the best series of games known to man, it has excellent movie like story, intense combat and excellent gameplay. I’ve played a ton of great games in my 30 years of gaming but there are great games and then there’s mass effect! It’s simply in a league all on it’s own and is just untouchable!

Note: only played thru about 70% ME1 and bit of ME2 (my favorite) so far. All 3 classics, I think they can be called classics, in one disc. ME1 feels like it flows right into ME2 graphically with the remaster work. Mostly cosmetic changes so far, nothing too different otherwise (about to wrap up ME1), but my memory is foggy so could be wrong. Should be a good experience for og players and new players alike. The steelbook is nice as well, glad to have in my collection. A proper update for the PS5 would have been nice, but no one has one, myself included. Maybe one day.

Fun experience, never played any of the original games once and so getting them all in one disk is both a time saver and far more convenient in saving your progress.

I’ve played all 3 games back in ps3 and xbox 360 era and i became a huge fan of mass effect series. Amazing story and gameplay makes this game is so unique. Its one of the best rpg games ever made! Currently im playing this game on my ps5 and it looks amazing. Buttery smooth frame rate, higher resolution makes this game even better than ever before. Im definitely recommending this game series to everyone even if you payed this before. Worth every penny!

Games are great but the box came with a rip in the spine. Not a good buy for collectors.

Bio-ware has come through for fans with this Legendary Edition of the best video game trilogy of all time. They greatly improved #1, and #2 & #3 never looked better. It’s great to have all of the DLC included. It was a great experience playing all of them back-to-back, did it in 6 days. I didn’t realize how much I missed these games. This is a great collection- that includes ME2- my 2nd highest rated game of all time! Mass Effect 1 Legendary Edition This is the first time I’ve played the full game of ME1 in 2021- but I’ve played #2 & 3 many times in the past. I liked #1 quite a bit, although it’s a bit short. There’s only a few main missions. It definitely adds to the Mass Effect story. There’s a bit too much time in the car, and too many elevators. The gameplay is much improved to be close to #2 & #3. The graphics are better- except human’s faces in cut-scenes. Overall I liked it pretty well- it was better than I thought. I will play it again the next time I want to experience the Mass Effect world. Mass Effect 2 Legendary Edition Simply put- ME2 is one of the best games of all time! In my top 5. Shepard is at her best in this one. It’s great building your crew and going on loyalty missions for them. There’s such a wide variety of missions- never gets boring. It’s a great action role playing game. There are great boss fights- but the worst enemies for me are those darn husks! It builds up to a great ending mission- although it stinks losing some of your crew. The 4k graphics look great- especially in several face models like Thane. It builds well off of ME1 and leads well to ME3. It’s the best in the series by far- but you should play all 3 games to truly experience the ME world. I’ve played this many, many times- and I highly recommend! Mass Effect 3 Legendary Edition ME3 ends the trilogy on a good note. Although I like ME2 better, there’s a lot going for #3. It has more action than the other two games. It also has many improvements- such as graphics, gameplay, and little elements like being able to use the multi-tool to bypass doors, jumping across gaps, etc. Bio-ware was at its height of game making with this one. I must say the characters in #2 were much better. Most people don’t like the ending, but I don’t mind it- especially with the extended cut. This rounds out the Legendary Edition well- and it’s a must to play all three games.

The Mass Effect Legendary Edition contains the full Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3 games, as well as all but 1 of the downloadable content missions and in-game promotional gear all remastered and optimized in HD! It plays on the new PlayStation 5 console too! The story is deep and immersive, the environments are beautiful and the game play is fun and varied. Definitely recommend adding this title to your collection! (There is one missing DLC, but it has zero impact on the story and wasn't even developed by Bioware like the rest of the DLCs, but farmed-out to another developer.)

If you enjoyed the original games, or missed out on the original releases, this is the definitive edition of the trilogy. The first game received several quality of life adjustments to bring it more in line with the second two installments in the series. All of the DLC from the games is included, making this the best value for somebody looking to experience everything the series has to offer.

This is a do not ever miss type nostalgia trilogy game. The first and second Mass Effect was a major hit and success on the Xbox 360 and was considered Gears of War meets RPG Sci Fi style. When Mass Effect 3 was launched towards the end of the Xbox 360 6 year cycle, the ending left many baffled and was one of the biggest controversial game in history until Bioware listened to the gamers and released a patch and several DLCs to give gamers a true SCI-FI story driven experience. Fast forward, after the horrible Adromeda that came out 6 years ago and became an epic failure, Bioware decided to release this trilogy collection wifh a lot of DLCs and the proper ending for ME 3. This collection is worth it for die hardcore gamer and collectors like me. If you like third person shooter with an RPG aspect abd heavily story driven then you come to the right game. Mass Effect trilogy has made it one of the most influential third person Sci-FI games ever made and the improved PS4 graphics made it even spectacular at 4K UHD. This is a AAA trilogy game you want to play and love forever.

Great set of games. Originally played these back on the Xbox 360. It includes all dlc, weapons and promo packs. Well worth the money and happy I picked this up. Game looks and plays great. Honestly no complaints.

Exactly what it claims to be. The three original Mass Effect games, given 4K textures and a UI facelift, running at 60fps on console. It's certainly not any less buggy than they used to be - some of those old bugs were fixed, some of them just weren't, and there are some pretty big new ones to boot - but it's $60 for one of the greatest RPGs ever told. I put over 200 hours into this and only played through it all once. Absolutely unparalleled value.

My first Mass Effect game was Mass Effect 2. I had skipped the original Mass Effect back in the day because I heard about the long loading times and other issues. That said, I LOVED Mass Effect 2 and eagerly bought Mass Effect 3 on launch. I've played Mass Effect 2 and ME3 on both Xbox 360 and PS3. And now I am playing them again along with the original in 2021. These games are that good! The visuals have been polished and the game mechanics are better. I played this Legendary Edition in the proper order which I suggest you do as well since you can carry over each character making it for your character to be stacked with abilities and stats. The loading times barely exist. Back in the day, I remember staring at the loading screens for several seconds as the levels loaded. Now? It's three seconds at best for a loading screen. The audio for these games is INSANE! Whether you're using a soundbar or wearing a headset, you are going to feel the rumble when you use a Mass Relay to launch to a different system. Oh, and the content that is packed into these games. ALL of the DLC is there. In fact, when I was playing Mass Effect 3, there was a mission that I didn't play in my previous play-throughs years ago, this was a solid length DLC story that extended my experience. Playing the Legendary Edition has me really excited for the new Mass Effect that was announced a while back. I think that the developers tested the waters to see if there was an audience for this franchise and it was met with a resounding YES!

Fun, fun, fun! Great mix of gameplay (space exploration, shooter, resource building, skill development, puzzle solving, squad building, alliance building). No gameplay bugs. Normal difficulty is just right for me and plenty challenging. And the game designers throw in plenty of fresh maps and gameplay as the game progresses; can't start getting complacent because of "been there done that" syndrome. Very good script and excellent voice acting, logically coherent story arc. Decision choices actually make significant differences in the story so I recommend saving before big decisions. Legendary's graphics don't feel outdated at all; they look great to me (I'm playing on a ps4 hooked up to a 65in UHD TV). No rendering bugs. Dualshock 4 hardwired to ps4 is fine, responsiveness has been all I can ask for 99.5% of the time (but it's on you if one of your squad-mates doesn't get to the position you assigned; that's just poor leadership on your part). I really like the fact that when starting a new ME 2 game I can keep the strengths, skills, and back-story my character finished ME 1 with if I want; likewise going from ME 2 to ME 3. All in all, Legendary is excellent fun. Now excuse me, I'm off to protect the galaxy!
