You have to follow the directions exactly. you have to put the freezer bowl in the freezer for 12 hours before you can use it. You have to turn the machine on before you put your ingredients in there or else it will freeze and then the paddle will not turn. You cannot remove the bowl without making a mess because the ingredients will drop out the bottom. I haven’t used the sprinkles dispenser. One of them were broken out of the box. It’s kind of fragile you have to be gentle . The recipes are good and the ice cream does come out good . I really have my doubts that the sprinkles will mix in there very good but I haven’t tried it.

Like having Dairy Queen in your home! Just a little advice before getting frustrated: Buy a packet of Junket and use this as your first mix, then you can make up your own recipes. Guar gum is the magic ingredient to all perfect soft serve in this machine. Use 1/8 tsp. for a small batch. This ingredient will compensate for low sugar/low fat recipes. Take time to learn how to put the parts together, and dismantle. If made when bowl is not chilled enough, and mixture remains runny, dispense all the liquid into a receiving bowl before removing the bowl to clean. Don't count on serving a party of friends - 3 jumbo ice cream cones is about what you get from a recipe, with a little leftover for the freezer. If your freezer is not at zero, keep the bowl in the freezer a couple days before using. Just like any appliance, takes a few times to get the perfect result for you.

We love the soft serve ice cream maker. IT WAS WELL WORTH THE MONEY! It is so easy to clean and keeps the contents cold for a long time.

This is a good buy for parties or holidays. It takes a little too much prep and time to be practical in daily or even weekly use.

I purchase for my son who loves soft serve. He has referred to it as the “greatest purchase” we have ever made. It’s simple to use and makes a great once cream.

It was a gift and it was enjoyed . It was easy to use and the soft serve ice cream was great and free of additives.

I don’t use as a soft serve dispenser. Instead I have it dispense straight into a container and then put container in freezer. Easy.

Bought this as a wedding present for my cousin and her husband who absolutely LOVE ice cream. Well I was incredibly disappointed when we tried to use it together and the ice cream would not thicken at all. We froze the center bowl for more than 12 hours and made sure to regularly check the consistency and after about an hour and a half of it still looking like soup we gave up and poured it out :( (the instructions say 15-20 minutes for churning) Obviously not what I was hoping for when I bought them this gift so I definitely wouldn't recommend this product.

Horrible experience trying to ship as a gift. I called and chatted continuously after I saw the system changed the order to send to me and was supposedly billing to the gift recipient. Going to return. Ordered another one from Amazon
