Sony Quality at a Bargain Price

I have nine Sony TVs throughout my house - everything from a KDL-32W600D in my office to an XBR-85A9G in the "great room". I guess you would say I'm a Sony loyalist - even my alarm clocks are all Sony! I have this particular TV in my garage/work room. As with most Sony TV's, the picture quality was great, straight out of box. I set the picture quality to "Dolby Vision Bright" and did not need to make any adjustments. The sound quality is good for an entry level set such as this one. I use a Roku ultra device as audio/video source. The Roku's remote can control your TV, so I use it in place of the supplied Sony remote. The Sony remote is "bare bones" and is the one "ding" against this TV but as I mentioned, I don't really need it since I use the Roku remote. So, overall, I would definitely recommend this TV to someone looking for Sony quality at a bargain price.

Excellent HDR performance and Google UI for budget

Brilliant while in HDR mode. Google-enabled feature is helpful, but also not bloated, or in the way. The settings and ui are mostly intuitive, and switching inputs or apps is fast and painless. The sound is not good, but I did not purchase this TV for its native sound, as we use an external sound system. The remote is OK, but you may accidentally hit a button or two. Otherwise a thin, and light remote. NOTE: we disconnected our FireTV because it almost seemed the two AI personalities were clashing, causing sudden input switching and other small annoyances. Still not sure if the problem was the TV or not, but every time it switched to the Arc input.

However, we are sorry to hear some issues that you are experiencing with the unit. Allow us to help troubleshoot the problem. If your TV switches automatically to an HDMI input: the TV may switch to the last input used for an external device connected via HDMI cable such as a game console (PS3 or PS4), High-definition cable box or satellite receiver, A/V receiver, Blu-ray Disc® player, media player, or a home theater system. The BRAVIA Sync function of the TV sets priority to the device connected to the ARC (Audio Return Channel) input of the TV. If third party device (that is not compatible with the BRAVIA Sync feature) is connected, the TV may switch to the input used by the BRAVIA Sync compatible device. To fix this issue, make sure to set the BRAVIA Sync control setting on the TV to Off.

Its a SONY and that’s what matters to me !!!
When you mother in law wants a new TV for the Living Room you buy the same brand as you own, I got this X80K series since it has the best color and best sound of any SONY tv. Setup was easy - HDMI connection to a 4K cable service - HDMI connection to a DVD Player - HDMI. Connection to a FireStick. All inputs are spot on and work perfectly. Why do I buy SONY - Longevity, Great no Excellent picture, support (firmware updates), multiple connections (HDMI), very configurable !!!! HDR on this unit is super nice !!!

Best purchase ever. For the price, this is an absolute steal, not only the Google OS is seamless, the home theater like built in speakers make it such an experience. Sticking to Sony Bravia’s for the foreseen future. One can also personalize each HDMI slot depending on what its used for, TV, PS etc… the level of brightness and sound is adjusted accordingly.

The TV is very pretty however, it is very dim. On the bright side you do get used to it. Veiwing angles are excellent and content in HDR is mind blowing competing with my LG CX OLED. Moreover no need for a soundbar even several feet from the tv it outputs epic sound. Overall a reccomended Buy

I absolutely love this tv. I purchased this tv about 2 months ago and I’m still finding new features on it. I’m exploring google tv on it now. I think I’ll finally be able to cancel my cable. I will tell anyone that has an old tv to update with tv.

May have been awhile ago now. But at the time. It’s was super quick and easy to place a pickup order for this TV and was ready literally in about 5 minutes. Everyone was nice and fast and not to mention the TV being the Sony brand was great for its price and I did check other store before buying from Best Buy so I’m not lying!

Wife’s 50 inch in the kitchen

My wife was convinced that she needed a large TV in the kitchen (calls it her office) so as we remodeled we let a spot that would accommodate a 50 inch. Sony costs a bit more but has never let me down. This google tv was so easy to set up and works flawlessly. She is very happy.

I love this television set. It is the absolute best out of Box experience you can have. Easy set up very intuitive and the picture is crisp and clear the sound quality of the television speakers is better than the bar soundbar that I bought for it. If you want to television it says that you can meet and exceed all of your expectations by the Sony bravia it is worth the price and such a wonderful addition to our home.
