I got this during Black Friday sales, because it was marked down to $650, I think it was. For the price, this is a pretty slick little machine. I'm not a gamer, but I put this through its paces every day. The re are 2 reasons why I'm giving it only four stars: 1. I had to exchange my first one, because there was something glitchy. 3 days before expiration period, it died, so I brought it in for an exchange. I've had this new one for a month and it has worked perfectly. 2. The fan is loud. But maybe that's because I upgraded the RAM. To those who want to know, YES, you can upgrade the RAM. I put in 32 GB, not knowing what would happen. The only thing I've determined is that it probably requires cooling by the fan more frequently. Also, because the computer gets kind of hot, I've put it on a wire rack about a half-inch from the desk, so that air is circulating all around it. As I said, for the price, I got a bargain, and it's a great little machine. B&O sound is good for a laptop. I don't use it much.

As someone who is a music listener, music recorder, and photographer, I was having a difficult time finding a valuable after I've destroyed my 2015 MacBook Pro back in late February 2020 due to technical issues/problems. Until I've found this one, I was interested in getting it due to positive info and customer reviews. Not a choice to say, right? Anyway, I had decided to buy this laptop just for the sake of living and I was expecting it will be different than my old Dell laptop that was died down in 2015. Until I opened, set it up, and wow, what is this?! A tablet-alike laptop that can run fast, perform well, and has two different drives which are 544 GB in total! I also never had a Windows 10 and 2-1 laptop before and I was impressed with this. It has plenty of apps you can look on this laptop, too. My only negative about this laptop is the touchpad and it was driving me nuts so I am using a portable since I first opened this laptop which I highly recommend to do so. If you already have a portable mouse as I did before purchasing a laptop, then do not worry about it. As for this laptop, I mostly use iTunes, Internet browsing, picture editing, and Microsoft Office. Personally, not for gaming which I do on my Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo. You can still do gaming on this laptop but not for me. Also, I bought a portable CD drive because this laptop does not have a CD/DVD drive to play so I decided to buy one of those and burn all of my music CD-ROMs on there to iTunes. Pretty simple. Anyway, if you are dying for a good laptop that is worth your money and can last for 3-5 years, please consider this one! It's a must-buy and you will never regret it!

I am happy with this purchase! It is so much faster than my previous laptop. I like that it has double the storage as the same model which only has 256gb. The extra 256gb makes a world of difference. For $50 more, I now have 512gb of storage. That will meet my needs for personal and professional use. I can totally recommend this laptop as it has surpassed all my expectations and at this price point, I don’t think you can get much better. Patti

I did have a few issues in the beginning, like the screen glitched and stopped working, the brightness wouldn't change. However, these issues haven't happened since installing all the Windows and HP recommended updates. The fan can get really loud at times, like with updates or heavy use. Overall though, it's a good computer if you're looking for touchscreen and more storage space, for light to moderate use.

I have had this laptop for almost 2.5 years. I use it almost daily, but mainly to create documents that I use in my preschool class. The screen is well lit. The processor works quickly and well. I like the backlit keyboard for evening work. I have had no issues in all this time and highly recommend it!

I love this computer, it’s fast great screen, light weight. and plenty of storage. Setup super easy. Alexa built in and helps with setup. Bought it for my wife and she is crazy about it. Also good for conference calls. HP has a home run on this one. Love Best Buy and their staff. Loads super fast and very quiet.

I bought this laptop to replace an aging (old) one. Like everyone else, I'm spending a lot more of my time in front of a screen, so the experience should be as pleasant as possible. I like that this machine is light, portable, comfortable to use, and has "awesome speed!" Very pleased with this purchase.

So far so good. My wife got this for work as a real estate broker and it does what she needs and then some. The touch screen makes it easy to sign edocs and it runs very fast for the price. Overall a great option for someone who doesn’t want to spend $2000 on a laptop

Great laptop. Very fast and plenty of storage for home use. I was debating between a 1TB HDD or a 512GB SSD and I think I’m much better off with the SSD. My old computer took forever to even boot up, much less open a file or browse the web. Really glad for the touch screen, the full size SD card reader, and the side vent. The only complain I have is that it does get pretty warm when I’m downloading large files, but I’ve never had a laptop that didn’t. The price may be a little high, but after experiencing such speed, I’m not complaining. I purchased two of these laptops and am very satisfied not only with the performance, but with how they look and feel as well. 5 stars.

Purchased the laptop on sale for my wife. A good sale price at $649. Not the top of the line or the bottom. A great middle of the road computer with touch screen, backlit keys, and full HD screen resolution. My wife liked the gold color, with gold keys, although I prefer silver with black keys. Easier to see. Haven’t had it long, less than a month. The only complaint I have is the touchpad. I have other laptops and the touchpads are solid to the touch with no play. This one has a lot play in it like it’s loose. The Geek Squad guy at the store said that’s how HP makes their touchpads now, like they’re floating. So they are more sensitive to the touch. I guess I need to get used to it, otherwise I would have given it five stars.

Great computer for what I want. the only issues are: the camera is a bit grainy nice wide view but not as clear as I would expect. I wanted the platform with an i8 processor. I sometimes need the extra processing power but for normal use it works great.

I have been researching for a lightweight, durable, touch screen, affordable, backlight, gold color, laptop. This is my second HP computer. I LOVE IT. I'm currently pursuing my doctoral degree so I'm constantly on my laptop. It was easy for me to set up. I installed Microsoft 10, antiviruses, and I was able to transfer all of my files from my old laptop to the new one. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a laptop that will meet all of their needs.

Battery does NOT last as long as it should, picture quality is good though, and for the price $700 it is a nice machine, and great color. It is fast, and great for business work.

I have been very satisfied with this computer so far. I bought it for everyday use, storing photos and streaming shows. I have recently started to plan my wedding and have been using the computer everyday for all planning aspects. I really like the convertible touch screen and the gold color. I feel like the battery life could improve a little but it lasts long enough for a few ours of typical web browsing.

This laptop is so cool. I love the touchscreen and the feeling of it. It feels premium and doesn't bend and flex like some other laptops. The keyboard itself isn't bad. I would prefer a mechanical keyboard but this will suffice. I hate track pads on all laptops. I always plug in a mouse on laptops.(That's just a personal bias I have) I do a lot school work on it and it's fine. The fan doesn't really turn on unless you're doing something heavy like video editing or gaming. Its okay, it doesn't sound like a jet engine or anything but you can definitely hear it. You can do some light gaming on it but don't expect to play Control or Shadow of the Tomb Raider anything like that. You can probably play Fortnite on it with low settings tho. Overall, it's a great laptop for school.
