Napalm Death - From Enslavement To Obliteration - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

CD reissue. Diatribes is the sixth studio album by grindcore band Napalm Death, originally released in 1996.

Following the more experimental Diatribes, Inside The Torn Apart is arguably the grooviest record in Napalm Death's discography, easing off on the blastbeats and producing a thick, bottom-heavy sound that fit right in with the '90s groove metal explosion.

Their final Earache album, Words From The Exit Wound signifies an end of an era for Napalm Death. Musically, the album continues in the same groovier, downtuned vein as Diatribes and Inside The Torn Apart, but also finds some of their earlier grinding intensity bubbling up to the surface again. They'd dive straight back into that sound on subsequent albums, but Words From The Exit Wound remains a fascinating listen for Napalm devotees, showcasing a vital stage in this unique band's evolution.
