Import - Nas burst right out of the box with a classic his 1994 Columbia debut, which teamed him with Q-Tip, DJ Premier, Large Professor and Pete Rock. The absolutely killer beats they contributed back Nas's swaggering, street-tough rhymes; this album was the epicenter of NYC rap in '94 and it sounds every bit as raw and powerful today InchN.Y. Vinyl LP. R&B superstar Erykah Badu let's her hair down on this relaxed, romantic album from 2010. InchNew Amerykah Part Two Return of the AnkhInch skips the politics and injustice at the heart of so many of Badu's recordings. This time she brings in rich live instrumentation for an even warmer sound. Who'd have thought she'd go for a Theremin, among other instruments? Yet, this is a playful album full of whimsy in both it's lyrics and music. It isn't as if Erykah has lost her touch so much as she has gotten in touch with her inner muse. Fans agree it is a great album, having sent it all the way up to #4 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album's biggest hits are InchWindow SeatInch and InchTurn Me Away (Get Munny)Inch. Album Tracks 1. 20 Feet Tall 2. Window Seat 3. Agitation 4. Turn Me Away (Get Munny) 5. Gone Baby, Don't Be Long 6. Umm HMM 7. Love 8. You Loving Me (Session) 9. Fall in Love (Your Funeral) 10.
