The record garnered glowing reviews, with Rough Trade selecting it for it's album of the month, writing InchBeautifully soaring... rolling grooves ground languid and dreamy clearwater shimmers of sound.Inch The critical acclaim and Americana chart success of the album prompted three back-to-back UK tours in 2019 and early 2020, ultimately leading to a three-year stint living and touring in the UK and Europe. In this time, Native Harrow released two more critically acclaimed records with Loose; Closeness (2020) and Old Kind of Magic (2022), playing for audiences ranging from rock clubs in Norway and Sweden to opera halls in Portugal, and every stop in-between, as well as performing at festivals such as BST Hyde Park (supporting the Eagles and Robert Plant & Alison Kraus), Greenman Festival, Black Deer Festival, The Great Escape, Celtic Connections, Moseley Folk Festival, SXSW, and many more. Following the eruption of it's title track, Side A of InchDivided KindInch transitions nimbly through hazy tremolo-laden dusty canyons, past an intimate soulful love letter, and towards a moody anthem of devotion buoyed by propulsive grooves, before ultimately settling on a gentle bird's-eye-view of love and transcendence. The Civil Wars - Barton Hollow - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

2011 debut full length from the Folk/Country duo. The Civil Wars consists of John Paul White, hailing from Florence, AL and Joy Williams, originally from Santa Cruz, CA, but now residing in East Nashville. The duo's chance meeting a year and a half ago fueled an immediate songwriting chemistry and creative synergy. Their second show ever, performed at a sold out Eddie's Attic, was recorded and released as a free digital album. Of the duo, Reg's Coffee House host, Scott Register, praises 'In my 13 years on the radio, few of the artists I've championed had as immediate a reaction as The Civil Wars. When I first spun 'Poison & Wine' listeners couldn't get enough of it and wanted to own it immediately. This band has the 'it' factor that you look for. Don't miss out.'

Martin Klett - Piano Quintets - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Premiered in 1919 in Zurich by the leaders of string sections of the Tonhalle Orchestra with Frank Martin himself at the piano, it displays a wide variety of influences, all forming part of a 29-year-old musician's search for his own artistic voice. At the same time, the Quintet's style is thoroughly individual, notably in it's choice of rich harmonies. Providing a marked contrast to Frank Martin's filigree, pared-down early style, César Franck's profuse, monumental Piano Quintet in F Minor (1879) is typical of the Franco-Belgian composer's late output. All of Franck's characteristics seem to blend together in this work which he wrote at the age of 57 Wagnerian chromatic harmonies, dramatic developments similar to those we know from his symphonic poems and oratorios, and a polyphonic musical thinking Inchin organ registersInch
