One of the best in the 2k series the game play is smooth but sometimes the shooting can be difficult and even with perfect release they miss even layups but hopefully the patch is coming soon for that

Even the casual basketball fan will enjoy this game for the amount of content. Drawback is the difficulty in controls (# of combinations) for player movement which will turnoff and frustrate not only younger players but those that are not avid gamers. Story mode is a little too over the top and cheesy for my taste. Overall worth having the baseline version for any ones collection.

I love this years game. Loading times are much quicker. With "the neighborhood" it makes it a lot quicker to enter mypark/proam/practice courts. Gameplay is improved a bit but there still a few glitches here and there, especially in the mycareer mode. Overall another great game and a step up from last years.

Great game and personally this is my favorite. Lots of bonus features and great play. Highly recommend.

So I bought this game, because I wanted to get back into video game world. Stopped a couple of years back don’t really remember why. Anyways this game got me hooked. Always liked 2k but this is really different. Had to really work on stuff to level up.. no freebies here!!!

I think that this was a great improvement over last years. My only complaint would be that the Legend Gold Edition comes with so much more stuff, but is quite a bit more expensive. ($150) Worth it, but had I known the difference in stuff from this and the Legend Gold, I would’ve gotten the legend gold edition. (I’m a huge NBA and 2K fan though)

Beside the huge VC problems, still a great game (very grindy though). I would recommend!

If you are looking for a basketball game for yourself, friend, child, etc., get 2K. 2K has been the standard for basketball games for over a decade now and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Great graphics and awesome animation with lifelike moves.

Yes, you can pay for VC, and yes it will help you excel through the game faster with your myplayer and myteam, but you don't need to buy a thing. Also, without spending extra, this game is solid, and offers so many ways to enjoy the NBA. There are some glitches, but the presentation is great!

So for what i olay the game for its the same old 2K to me just way better graphics over time. Updated rosters. Big down fall is the setback they have with Create a player Mode and its lack if customization abilities! Thats why its 4 stars not 5. Face scanning is good and a lot more accurate this time around though.

I have always loved NBA 2K and I think its the only NBA video game you should buy. I would say my favorite 2K was 2K17 not 2K18. For some reason I don't like the feel of the controls its very different. That's why I gave it 4 stars and not 5

Love the new my player story mode! Great game, graphics are also great... but my face is probably not compatible... i guess it doesn’t work for good looking people :)

this game comes with some physical content but 100k VC only gets your myplayer to about a 69 or 70 overall which means you will either have to buy more VC or grind heavily to get competitive. Great game tho.

This is a way improved game from 2017. The game play is pretty much the same but the my career is what’s improved. It makes you play through the season instead of allowing glitches to cheat into 99 overall.

My Grandson also received this game. H Cole an said it comes not only with game but with posters and pictures of previous NBA players. He loves this game!

I’ve always been a fan of 2k but this year I was slightly disappointed with the MyCareer story mode. I love the whole neighborhood aspect of the game, I just wish it had a better story line.

This is my fourth year with NBA 2K. I don’t get to play as much as I once did, but when I do get a chance to play I am thoroughly please.

I don’t know how NBA 2k keeps improving but they topped last year in terms of gameplay and graphics. Must buy for NBA fans.

I’ve purchased every 2k game since 2011 and enjoyed every game. They get better every year and keep improving.
