After several years of silence West Virgina's own Nechochwen returns with their 2015 album. Without losing sight of their acoustic and classical roots Heart of Akamon reveals the bands most emotive and aggressive material up to this date. The old spirit of Heart of Akamon will take you on a journey back in time and experience the persecution, struggle and pride of the indigenous peoples almost forgotten Native America. A truly unique outpouring of carefully composed metal intertwined with Folk and Americana elements sets Nechochwen apart from the ever growing metal realm. Heart of Akamon embodies the thrill of the hunt, the bloodlust of battle and a wonder for tales told around a campfire beneath the stars.

With their new album, the Berlin Baroque Soloists take us again (also available Cremona I HC22084) to Cremona, one of the important Italian centers of violin making and technical developments in the 16th/17th centuries.Composers were only too happy to make use of the many innovations, as they opened up unimagined possibilities for them to add additional colors and accents to their musical art. This wonderful recording gives a lasting impression of how different these can be. Reinhard Goebel and his Berlin Baroque Soloists find exactly the right tone for each of the recorded concerti.
