Consisting of 13 tracks, the album will feature solo acoustic re-recordings of some of his past songs. One of the most influential artists of all time, Neil Young has set a standard of artistic integrity and iconoclastic creativity. Before starting his multi-platinum solo career, he was a founding member of the folk-rock band Buffalo Springfield and worked with the groups Crazy Horse and Crosby, Stills and Nash. The Canadian singer-songwriter was recognized by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 for his work as a solo artist and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1982. Young's philanthropic work is as renowned as his musical legacy. His famous Bridge School Benefit Concert has become a yearly tradition since 1986 and continues to boast an incredible line-up of high-profile artists. Each year, Young donates all of the proceeds to the Bay Area's Bridge School, which assists children with severe physical impairments and complex communication needs. This Japan-exclusive 50th anniversary edition of Wish You Were Here is presented in a 7-inch paper sleeve and includes two CDs and one Blu-ray disc. The CDs feature the original five-track album alongside nine bonus studio rarities, including six previously unreleased recordings and four newly remixed by James Guthrie. The Blu-ray contains the album in Dolby Atmos (new mix by James Guthrie), as well as 5.1ch, 4ch, and stereo versions, plus 25 bonus tracks comprising studio rarities and more than 130 minutes of previously unreleased live recordings from Pink Floyd's 1975 Los Angeles Sports Arena performance, including early versions of later works and a complete live performance of The Dark Side of the Moon. Limited vinyl LP repressing in gatefold jacket. Off the Wall is the fifth solo studio album by Michael Jackson. It was released on August 10, 1979, following Jackson's critically well-received film performance in The Wiz. While working on that project, Jackson and Quincy Jones had become friends, and Jones agreed to work with Jackson on his next studio album. Recording sessions took place between December 1978 and June 1979 at Allen Zentz Recording, Westlake Recording Studios, and Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles, California. Jackson collaborated with a number of other writers and performers such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Rod Temperton. Five singles were released from the album.
