See more imagesLove this blaster from the star wars series. The only thing that I wish it had more of was the ammo that it comes with. The detail is good and the distance is really far for a Nerf gun. It is a great item for a star wars fan or a cosplayer.

The Rival First Order Stormtrooper blaster is a great balance of performance and authentic Star Wars style. In testing the blaster, it performed well, achieving distances in line with regular Rival blasters, though not quite on par with the original Apollo. For those familiar with the Rival line, it's more like the Helios. While it comes with a 7 round magazine, it is compatible with the 12 round mags available separately. The details in the design give this blaster an authentic look, better than any other stock Star Wars Nerf blaster I've seen. There are a few minor negative things. Some of the detail pieces are separate in the package and need to be snapped into place. They are removable, though, if you want to store the blaster in its packaging. However, the scope is non-removable, as is the stock. Would have been nice to be able to remove these to give the blaster a different look. The biggest gripe I have is the priming handle. The bolt-action prime uses a relatively small, hinged handle on the left side. While I haven't had any issues, yet, this feels too flimsy. Under heavy use, I wouldn't be surprised if this failed. It also requires you to move your front hand to re-prime after each shot. A pump action prime, like the new Hypnos, or at least a heftier, sturdier bolt handle would have been much better. I'm guessing the pump-action would have driven up the cost, while a bigger bolt handle would not have allowed the blaster to fit in the package as well. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone that loves Nerf and Star Wars. Keep in mind, though, it is Rival and packs a much stronger punch than regular Nerf darts. Teens (OK, maybe 12 years old) and up. Don't forget the eye protection. Maybe a good reason to wear that Stormtrooper or Vader helmet you've got in your collection.

Very accurate. Packs a LOT of punch! If you're using this in Nerf Battles, it IS large and the report is loud when you fire, so you can forget about hiding your position! Easy to clear jams. Clean color scheme. Decent value for the money, as we got it on sale. Probably wouldn't have paid full price because, you know, it's a toy gun! Quite fun though...

I got it on sale for approx $70. It was worth it. The wieght is light for the size. It's one of the longest NERF blasters. It's basically a sniper rifle. It's all one large piece. the grip in the front is molded in it doens't fold. Two small side peices are detachable. The folding slide prime on the side is sturdy. It's accurate with fresh Rival rounds. I believe the red ones are unique to this blaster so add to the collectbility. The sight does work imho when I lined up a target and looked thru the sight moreoften than not it was accurate. The box is very nice except I ordered it ship-to-store and it had a shipping label that won't come off. The Best Buy label did.

When I first saw this announced, I knew I just HAD to have it. It's big, bulky and a great feel for adult collectors. One downside is that they should have made the barrel grip the primer for loading rounds. It wouldn't have been 'show accurate', but it would have been much less cumbersome than the tiny priming handle on the left side of the blaster. The grip also feels a bit large for my hands, but I suppose I would prefer this to something too small. The blaster bolt clip and the 'greeble' just behind it are removable as well for easy storage in tight spaces, even the box it came in. This is by far one of the best licensed blasters Nerf has made yet.

This authentic star wars themed nerf gun is visually impressive and is the same as the ones carried by the stormtroopers in Disney world's Galaxy's Edge. It also picks quite a punch and the rounds fly very fast, far and quite accurately too. This is well worth the money for a young Star Wars fan.

My husband loves it. It takes some looking over to realize how it all fits together (for those who don’t like to read manuals) but it’s very user friendly and all components are tight. The aim is true and my husband and the nephews have great fun with it

First off, it's big. Bigger I think than the movie version it's based on.. second, except for its bgiger proportions it looks just like the movie gun it's based on. Third the price is very reasonable. Good for cosplayers and nerf enthusiasts

Excellent replica of the Stormtrooper blaster. Although not an auto it is very satisfying to charge with the bolt and shoots nice and far. So far it seems relatively accurate. My son loves it (so do I)

Very cool blaster that shoots hard and accurate! Even just as a Star Wars collectible, it is worth having - it's a cool piece. The box is good for displaying if you so choose. Would recommend!

My kids love this. It’s pretty big so the smaller kids will have a hard time even holding it. Other than that, the price is down to $50 so it’s a good buy if you like Star Wars and Rival.

The Nerf Rival Stormtrooper Blaster looks great and shoots well. Star Wars fans will really love the way the blaster looks. The rounds are soft and are relatively safe to use around the house. The blaster fires the rounds pretty hard so they can still knock over and break fragile items.

I've been wanting one of these Nerf Rival guns for a long time. This one looks just like a new Stormtrooper gun. It shoots a lot farther and harder than I thought. I love it!

If you wanna give the resistance a run for thier money. This blaster is for you. Loads fast, fires pretty good. The aim is not as off as I thought it was gunna be. Being a storm trooper I struggle with aim as it is. When I heard Gen. Hux made these standered issue I was surprised. But he made a good call. Now if he could get better helmets. I can nearly see a thing.
