Nervous Cop - Nervous Cop - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

Following 2011's demo and 2013's highly-acclaimed EP, Into the Brazen Bull, House of Atreus strikes back with their eight-song, 42 minute debut full-length.

Korn guitarist James InchMunkyInch Shaffer approaches his instrument with a revolutionary spirit every time he picks it up. There's no better example than the self-titled debut from Shaffer's Fear and the Nervous System. It's a deeply personal, pummeling, and often poetic sonic undertaking that sees Shaffer in the director's chair. For the album, he assembled an all-star cast including Faith No More bass god Billy Gould, Bad Religion basher Brooks Wackerman, guitarist Leopold Ross, keyboardist Zac Baird, and enigmatic singer Steve Krolikowski [Repeater]. Together, they crafted a cerebral industrial metal drama of the highest order. Album Tracks 1. Hell (Intro) 2. Choking Victim 3. Chosen Ones 4. No Secrets 5. Chinatown 6. Beautiful Side 7. After spending much of 2006 on the road with the Hold Steady, Cursive, and Constantine's, The Cops now give you their razor-sharpened second full-length. Dynamiting the walls of classic rock and rebuilding on the crumbling foundations, they've constructed a set filled with scratching, twitching, aching, unholy rock music that still manages to be both familiar and crucially entertaining. Eleven dark roughhousing manifestos. Inch... The Cops' staccato stop-and-go six string rhythms couple with abusive drumming to create a surprisingly danceable setInch.
