Well I finally got the courage to do what I have been thinking. Top round steak and lean pork tenderloin mix for either meat balls or meat sauce. Sprayed a little canola oil over the cleaned grinder parts. I put the grinder parts and cubed meat in the freezer for about 40 minutes. Then in less than 5 minutes I ran it through twice using the medium cutter. Three slices of bread helped get the remnants out and left the grinder easy to clean. It was about 2 1/3 pounds. Perfect for my sauce. With meat markets no longer grinding roasts, this thing is the perfect solution. just make sure you cut the meat small enough to drop in. And don't forget the pre freeze before grinding. Next time I'm adding chicken to make a low sodium and pepperoni style mix. Now I just eliminated a step in my sauce making by mixing the meats in a grinder.
