Customer Ratings & Reviews

I’ve been using the Nest Audio for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed with both the sound quality and the smart features. The audio is clear, rich, and much better than I expected for a speaker of this size. It fills my living room easily and works great for music, podcasts, and even audiobooks. Setup was quick and straightforward through the Google Home app, and Google Assistant responds accurately to voice commands. I especially like being able to control my smart home devices, set reminders, check the weather, and play music hands-free. The charcoal color also looks modern and blends nicely with my home decor. Overall, this is an excellent smart speaker with great sound quality and useful features. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their home audio and smart home experience.

Google is finally realizing that one of the biggest reasons people buy a smart speaker is to be... a speaker. First generation Google Home was a great smart device and a mediocre speaker. Now with the Nest Audio we finally have an incredible Google Assistant device with an incredible speaker. I love the sound it produces. I love how loud it gets. I love the look of it. I love how sensitive the microphones are. I LOVE the price. I was on the fence about buying another Sonos One speaker, but I'm glad I waited because this is half the price, sounds just as good, and is a way better smart speaker. Also for some insane reason you still can't cast music to Sonos. Good riddance Sonos, hello Nest Audio.

The sleek design of this speaker complements any room. Its compact size makes it incredibly portable and easy to move. The sound quality is surprisingly robust for such a small device. It offers a seamless and intuitive user experience. Connecting to various devices is quick and effortless.

Great upgrade to the Google home line. Speaker's quality is clear and has decent bass. The assistant is very responsive and the device itself is very nice to look at so you do not have to worry about finding a location for it that is out of sight. Setting this bad boy to max volume will definitely get your place shaking.

I recently added the Google Nest Speaker to my apartment, and it has transformed my living space. The sleek design seamlessly fits into my decor, and the sound quality is phenomenal. Whether I'm playing music, listening to podcasts, or watching movies, the audio is clear and rich. The convenience of having Google Assistant at my beck and call is a game-changer. I can control lights, check the weather, and even set reminders effortlessly. Setup was a breeze, and the speaker has become the central hub for my smart home devices. The compact size is perfect for my apartment, and the ability to connect multiple Nest speakers for a synchronized audio experience is a great bonus. In short, the Google Nest Speaker has elevated my apartment living to a whole new level of comfort and entertainment. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their home audio and smart home capabilities.

I absolutely love the quality of this speaker! I currently own 3 of these speakers and have them connected to 6 other Google Speakers/hub around the home. It is awesome to have music playing from each speaker, with no lagging. This speaker can also be connected to other devices via Bluetooth. I highly recommend this speaker to anyone looking for an economical speaker with amazing sound.

I really love the voice commands that the google nest holds. Works really great better than regular speakers I had. Love how I can play and adjust with the bass and can feel my music even better! Would just love if speakers were quite a bit more louder like even more louder :). Overall product is really really great wish could be wireless too.

Clear Audio, a perfect Assistant and you can pair two of them to create a speaker group in Google Home! Sidenote- I wanted these to work as audio for my TV but Google programmed them in a way they don't do that. BUT, I found a way. -Create a speaker group with the paired Nest Audio -Add Chromecast into the group in Google Google Home app and label as something you'll remember (I use "Nest Theater Audio") (Here's the strange part because the audio won't communicate through use of the actual Chromecast so you need to have a Fire TV Stick-ironic isn't it) -Go to Fire TV Settings -Hit Remotes & Bluetooth -Other Bluetooth -Choose the audio group and now You can play surround sound audio while streaming. All in all I love these speakers and highly recommend them. There's so much you can actually do with them and even more you'll find in Google Home app.

Easily the best product I’ve written a review for in a while. Google home fits perfectly into my home (both looks and function). With the added convenience of it, I can set the vibe to a room easily with music or lay down for bed and have it turn off all my smart lights. Definitely has become a part of my every day life!

Great as Google speakers go. Google's smart responses really aren't very well developed, however, and can be kind of disappointing. You have to slowly spell things out for it. You can't say "Play ___ on Netflix on Bedroom TV", it's too complicated of a request. You have to ask for each thing one at a time. Decent sound quality, though. Sometimes sucks at hearing you despite having the sensitivity high for its responsiveness.

I purchased this Nest Audio to replace an older version. I was happy with my older one, but I wanted a better speaker and microphone. Music sounds way better than the original. The music cannot replace a high quality speaker, but it sounds good enough for listening to music while I cook. I was also pleased with the improvement to the microphone. The device can detect my commands from about 50 plus feet away with the noise from the kids and TV. The only negative thing I can say about this Smart Speaker is that the power cord is over a foot shorter than the previous version. I would recommend this smart speaker for anyone who wants a great smart device for their home. It works well and can control the TV, thermometer, robot vacuums and many other tech products I own.

Recently I gave away from my Google Home Mini (sounds old just saying that), and decided I needed a newer speaker after owning that for over 4 years. This is a phenomenal item with the ability to play around with the bass and tremble, versus what the old mini speakers did. It's heavier which makes it feel like a real speaker. I use it for almost all my automatic commands and routines. The charcoal color is also very satisfying with the products on my dresser, increasing the cool aesthetic of it in general. I use several products on my Google Home through the speaker such as my lamp, door lock, Chromecast, and even my lamp (Ottlite). It is very easy to say "Hey Google" because all products use Google Assistant and are synced together to remember your voice and set routines. Next, I'll think google could use a link adapter to products that aren't google to make it known this is one of the best speakers I've owned. Comparing the volume of the google home mini at 25% vs this current one is a big difference in clarity and smoothness. Take my review as a big encouragement. Peace!

The good: Music that follows you around the house, voice calling without your phone and wire-free intercom! The bad: Fiddly user interface and erratic setup. For those who have been all-in on Google's Nest ecosystem from day one, these speakers are a no-brainer. Google has recently updated its Home app to include household routines and activities on top of standard device controls. That means you can set your bedroom Nest Audio to gently wake you with your favorite streaming tunes, and your kitchen Nest Audio speakers to tell you the weather and when your first meeting of the day starts. It also seamlessly integrates with other Nest products, so you can control your Nest thermostat and cameras from a unified dashboard. Pair two Nest Audio devices in a room and you get stereo sound without the wires. My favorite feature is the intercom: Just say "Hey Google, announce!" and it will broadcast whatever you say next to all Nest Audios, or even to select rooms. All that said, setting up these devices is not for the faint of heart. Adding new devices can be tricky, and often can take two or three attempts to get each speaker authenticated. Devices will sometimes randomly fall off your home wi-fi network, requiring a 'factory reset' and going through the motions of re-authenticating. For those willing to put up with a little extra digital elbow grease, the ability to have music playing around the house far outweighs the disadvantages. There are other multi-room options out there, but the Nest Audio series is an excellent overall value.

I’m an Apple loyalist first and foremost, however with Google’s mesh wifi system, I had to switch as I got tired of spending $600 for a descent router. After switching, I got a little excited that I can add nest audio to my setup and I was a little weary that the sound would be sub par. I was wrong. They got these right. Now full disclosure, these aren’t a sonos situation, but for $59 (Black Friday deal) these are a home run and I love the added benefit of the “Hey Google” mic. Super accurate and well worth the switch. Now if they only sold a sub to pair with these little piece of awesomeness. Don’t hesitate.

This is a small speaker, but it is powerful. I am not an audiophile, but this speaker sounds very good. It's very intimate. I love it personally

Aside from the overpackaging, this is a great addition, I have an old Google speaker in my TV room, and this one went in my bedroom. It likes “hey google” instead of “ok google” as an address, although I find it also responds to the old inquiry. I use it primarily to listen to channels on my Sirius XM account, and the sound quality is excellent.

I picked up two of these up on sale to group with my Nest Mini and I am very pleased with how these things sound together. I have the best entry-level sound set up in my room and it didn’t cost me hundreds of dollars! Setting them up was pretty easy too! Overall, I would definitely recommend this product to people who enjoy listening to music/podcasts and who are dabbling in home automation. I just wish that these could be used as speakers for the Chromecast I connected to my TV just like my Chromebook.

I’ve been using this google assistant speaker for about 2 weeks and I’ve enjoyed it. It has a good base to it , it’s easy to talk to I like talking to Google assistant and telling it what song I like. I think it’s convenient for me instead of going on my phone looking for a song and yea. I recommend this google nest. I have it plugged in my room because I love listening to music in here!

This item was very surprising for a small speaker. It has great sound and it hooked, right up to my five g.No issues at all

I bought it to try 2nd Home design, I have 1st Home smart speaker that I liked but lacked good Bluetooth. I also got the best Sale price around Black Friday, so I wouldn't pay the $100 for this. So this one was completely redesigned with better speakers & Bluetooth connection. The biggest disappointment is lack of Aux input so we can't get highest sound quality from portable players. Also when streaming from Google music sound is limited, I usually have to raise to 80-90% to sound Ok. I still recommend it to have in any room to enjoy musica from any WiFi radio or Bluetooth.
